I bought this on the recommendation of my sister who started taking it when she first experienced hot flashes. Hers completely disappeared. I was desperate because for years I had experienced more than 2 or 3 each hour of a 24 hour period, and when I started this I noticed an immediate reduction. The day before I began this supplement I had a good day -- only 18 hot flashes in 24 hrs, but still unacceptable for my health! The next day I took one tablet in the morning and had only 7 in 24 hrs--- in 1 day! I'm now down to usually less than 5 in a 24 hour period. When I forget to take it I NOTICE IMMEDIATELY! It's only about $20 for 200 capsules -- totally worth it for the results!

I write maybe 1 review a year but this one deserves a praise 100%! I almost paid for an expensive “all in one” remedy for hot flashes, but I did my homework. I saw that the main ingredient in all of them were rhubarb root, so I started researching it and found out that it does help with menopause. I went with this inexpensive option because I had been having night after night of hot flashes. I took one at night, every night, and I almost gave up on this but I was desperate so I kept it up. FINALLY after about a month it kicked in and it has been nearly 2 years with virtually NO hot flashes! I sleep so much better and this really changed my life.

Being a true skeptic, I took my time reading about Siberian Rhubarb prior to this purchase. I took my first capsule at 5 pm in the afternoon, that night was the first night I've spent dry in more than 3 years, along with the next 4 nights prior to writing this review. To explain, my hot flashes at times were debilitating and would force me to sit for a few minutes before continuing whatever I was doing. Every night was was a struggle to get a decent nights sleep, something which is hard to do when you wake up ringing wet and freezing cold, every night. If you want to cut the hot flashes down to a couple a day without being soaking wet, and if you want to wake up after a peaceful, dry night, try this product. Don't believe me, try them for yourself if you have hot flashes, doses of soaking wet clothes throughout the day, and a drenching every night, it's worth trying, you might find out like I did, those capsules work.

I am SO sorry I didn't try this years ago. I've tried every alternative to estradiol and NONE of them worked, gave me horrible anxiety and worse hot flashes. I've been so completely miserable since my hysterectomy, until now. For ten years I've tried and searched and experimented with all types of estrogen, including Premarin, Estradiol patches, pills, creams, Estriol, and Biest creams, only to suffer anxiety symptoms and odd physical ailments from the use of those things. For years I skipped past this, thinking it was no better or different than soy or black cohosh, or red raspberry. DIM, and whatever other bogus crap that seems to work for everyone but me. But THIS... THIS product works like a true MIRACLE. I cannot believe I suffered for so long while this actually does work. For once, the claims about an herbal, alternative remedy for menopause are totally true. Don't do what I did. THIS IS NOT LIKE THOSE OTHER PRODUCTS. THIS WORKS. Give it a day or two though. I had a few hot flashes and mild, very mild anxiety that continued for a few days, but from the first few hours, this stuff was really so much better than any estrogen or alternative herbal product I've ever tried. I knew it right away. I could feel the change in my mind and body, and I feel like a normal, happy woman again. Order it. Try it. You will love, love, love it.

This caused me to be violently ill severe cramping and diarrhea. I am not sure why they are putting 250mg in a pill when only 4mg a day is recommended. I really think it causes overdose.

This product helps with hot flashes. Unable to take estrogen because it cause clots in my case. Which in turn could cause a stroke or go to your heart. This product has helped now I make it threw the days and nights with less hot flashes. Would recommend. Plus licorice, red clover, and black cosh for hot flashes as well.

Thank God for something natural that has brought relief to these awful hot flashes! I beyond highly recommend these for anyone experiencing the joys of menopause. It helps tremendously with all the fun aspects. I was having 30-50 vicious hot flashes a day, accompanied by panic and intense sweating. I am down to about 7 mild heat waves a day now that are nothing in comparison to the hell I was in! If you do anything for yourself this year, do this! Plus, I love that it is majorly affordable for all!

I started taking these for hot flashes after reading about the side effects of Black Cohosh and not liking what I read. I was seeking another all natural product and came across Siberian Rhubarb. In between waiting for my order to arrive and not taking the Black Cohosh supplement, the hot flashes came back along with the fatigue and general malaise I was feeling. I received my order and began taking these that day. Its been almost a month and hot flashes are very weak and few and far between. Yes! No more night sweats and a bonus is that these really killed my 'snacking appetite' which has had a fantastic effect on my weight. No more bloating and those stubborn 10 pounds that seemed to accumulate in the last year or so, are gone. Now to be fair, I'm very active and walk every day too. But I've lost a jean size or two and feel confident when wearing the newer styles. I have more energy and my overall mood is much improved. I'll take these for as long as they work! Have not noticed any bad side effects either and my vision has improved again (the Black Cohosh pills were really messing with that). I give this product a thumbs up!!
