Does the outside around the plates get hot?

Mine does not get too hot on the outside around the plates. It gets warm but not too warm to touch!

I have a question, is this iron the one with bamboo infusion? Why did I see one that said bamboo infusion in the description and this one didn't

I’m not quite sure… from my knowledge no this one is not bamboo infused, and I don’t see it anywhere in the description, but I could be wrong

Does this hair straightener work in other countries?

Yes but you need a 220 to 110 converter. Just having an adapter will not work - in fact only a adapter will burn up your flat/ curling iron.
