Having been waxed professionally I knew the basics on how to pull skintight and rip the strip off etc. I have to say they are pretty good in my opinion and I've continued to use them and do my own waxing post lockdown which has saved me loads of ££££! To address some points on other reviews which I feel cast a negative light on this product... There are 20 strips within the box which you need to separate to create 40 strips in total, those stating some are missing or its misleading, it clearly states in the description that the box contains 20 double sided strips. These strips need to be warmed slightly to sperate them, failure to do so will mean they don’t separate properly or will leave sections of wax on the body (some pictures of reviews show this). If you do not pull the skintight on application and removal and fail to rip the strip off correctly it will draw blood to the surface of the skin and you will bruise (again some reviews show this). I let my leg hairs grow out to the reccomended 1/4 inch, I'd did lots of research and this was the best length. So it was a full two and a half weeks of hair growth. I have long legs so I don't know if I was doing it right but I got through almost two whole boxes to get just the bottom half of my legs done. I didn't have enough left to wax the back of my upper legs so i had to shave them. The wax did not pull out every hair, only the odd one, but enough to make me question what the point was if I had to go back over my legs and pluck out the remaining ones. Did it hurt? Hmm no and yes. The thickest part of my hairs where the calves, I'd used epilators before so I suspect that's why I was kind of "patchy", but after I attempted to wax my bikini line nothing could hurt as much as that did. I ran over my legs with the wipes in the box but it didn't remove the wax left on the skin after I had a shower I let my legs dry naturally and the wax just rubbed off easily. The next day I see a few hairs that have been missed, perhaps I have to better my technique, but I will be doing it again, my legs look great- granted after two weeks of looking like cousin it anything will look better- but my skin is nice and peachy and the slight irritation I got has gone down.
