I didn't even know I needed this! It is really a functional bowl that I find myself reaching for often. I can use this to harvest produce from my garden, than it is ready to rinse. It fits perfectly into my stainless bowl for deep washing greens, then drains perfectly. I love the base - it does not impede draining and is attached really well. It will not topple over when I pour in my pasta. Nothing sticks to it - it washes up so easily! This is a really nice colander and I am so glad I bought it! You will be too! Oh - get the big one. It is so versatile.

I’ve used this colander almost daily. I like the base, so water doesn’t build up around it, while I’m straining. The material is solid enough to hold heavy food, while permeable enough to strain efficiently. I would recommend this colander.

It is very well made. It has a fine mesh so it works well with anything you want to strain. For me at least it nests with other pots and pans so it doesn't take up much space in my cabinets. It does take up a lot of space in my dishwasher so I usually wash it by hand.

Perfect strainer not too big but not too small. Works great for steaming as well.

It is strong. I use to drain canned tuna, chicken, and other food.

Love these! I was concerned that these would be too small but to my surprise they are very good sized. You get 3 ( small, medium and large). The small is pretty big. I love that they strain well and the holes are small that you don't lose food like rice etc...I've used these now for a good month. They are dishwasher safe an no rust! I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Overall very nice quality and heavy gage. Handles seem sturdy and are firmly attached I wish the base had drain holes. When you drain pasta, the water becomes trapped and doesn't allow efficient drainage

Bin von dem Sieb sehr begeistert. Habe es jetzt seit ca. 6 Wochen und jeden zweiten Tag in Gebrauch, kann es bisher auf jeden Fall jedem empfehlen. Die Öffnungen sind sowohl klein genug sind um Reis drin zu halten, als auch groß genug um Obst / Gemüse gut darin zu waschen. Da ich nur eine kleine Küche mit wenig Stauraum habe, wollte ich ein Sieb was für möglichst viele Zwecke verwendet werden kann. Das Sieb ist robust und lässt sich mit der Spülmaschine problemlos reinigen.

Comenzare por decir que el producto tiene una apariencia formidable.Es un colador premium y con un diseño que puede ser un arma de doble filo.La funcion de escurrir la hace de la mejor manera posible.El alimento queda escurrido en muy poco tiempo.Los contras,pues tanto agujero dificulta la limpieza,el arroz por ejemplo,debes pasarte un ratito para dejar todos los agujeritos limpitos.A pesar de esto lo considero un gran escurridor.

j'ai été surpris de découvrir que ce produit est d'origine américaine. je suis méfiant de tout ce qui vient des States. mais la passoire en inox est bien faite et selon ma chère et tendre épouse, "c'est du costaud !". si ma femme le dit, vous pouvez la croire. faut éviter de contester. (humour !) que dire de plus ? si vous mettez vos pâtes à l'intérieur, la passoire laisse passer l'eau et retient les pâtes. génial non ? bon, sans blague, à moins de vous mettre la passoire sur la tête pour jouer au fou, croyez moi, vous ne regretterez pas d'avoir acheté cette passoire. elle fait son boulot et en plus, elle n'est pas moche.

Very fine quality, nicely manufactured and finished. I've been looking for a decent colander with small perforations for quite some time, and was overjoyed at finally finding one. Delivery was quick and it arrived in perfect condition. I was even more pleased at the quality of this item, which is a lot higher than I expected. All edges are nicely finished, with no rough patches. Holes are clean with no burrs or patches, and the metal is well polished, clean and light. This is an excellent product and will be used a lot in our kitchen. Most colanders have large holes spread out in varying patterns and are totally unsuitable for small items such as rice and similar things. Now that we finally have a decent small hole colander, we can retire the wide pattern sieve we've had to use up to now. Absolute godsend, and that it's so finely made as well. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is great quality and highly durable. The size is perfect if making large amounts. I use it for orzo as well and the holes are small enough that they don’t go through. Works great on all pasta sizes and shapes, potatoes and everything else. Highly recommend!
