Mo Willems is a blessing!
Although I purchased these books for my granddaughter, who adores the Pidgeon, I took them with me to read to preschoolers in my parish before sending them to her. When I showed them that they would get to choose from nine Pidgeon books, they squealed and laughed and jumped up and down. We read four that day. I had as much fun with the stories as they did. This series is delightful and silly and does more than "speak" to our littlest generation, it laughs out loud and invites them into a fun, safe, and silly world. Just remember, DON'T LET THE PIDGEON DRIVE THE BUS! Especially if he needs a bath...

Fun sequel books.
These are great books that follow the Piggie and Gerald books. Those get 5 stars. While these are maybe not QUITE as good, these are still a fun read and keep my 5 year old giggling!
