Use an old cheap Xeon and old memory to do cool stuff. - These are great. If you are looking for a first class experience go with a known brand. But if you are looking for an inexpensive, good board that boots and you can use old parts with to make a powerful little systems, these boards do the job. These are sold under many listings and brands with just a few differences. I bought 2 different ones and the only changes were the colors. I went wild and put 18-core Xeon E2695s on the, paired with 128MB of ECC DDR4 server memory. They run great. I use on to host ProxMox and another as a test box for whatever I want. They are rock stable. Complaints? Sure. It could use another full sized PCI Man it would be killer if I could use a 10gb network card. They do have a short PCI slot. I have purchased some 2.5gb cards that look like they'd fit, but I have not done any testing. I have used a few Chinese market boards over the years. Years ago they used to be usable but pretty rough. They are getting really good, but still a little less developed than well known makes.
