Wella is simply one of the best products to use for hair colour. This is a professional Salon product. I’ve been using this product for many years successfully at home, with no help to achieve a Salon professional look. It saves me a fortune! 6.0 is a natural mid brown colour. You will need to buy the Wella activator at either 1.5 or 4% to use together with this product to activate it. The colour slowly fades out and doesn’t leave any harsh lines. I redo my colour every couple of months as I now have some greys coming through. The colours are 2nd to none if you want a natural believable colour. The product covers Grey very well. Always use a little bit of Vaseline around the hairline and remove from the skin where you see it comes into contact. I always tackle the grey hair first at the hairline point and then after a couple of minutes apply to the rest of the hair. Sometimes I use a conditioner to sweep the product down to the lower older hair in the last 10 minutes so as not to oversaturate the colour in the older sections of hair which have already been dyed many times before. Sometimes I use Malibu crystals to remove previous dye and do a beautiful reset on my colour.

I mix 10/03 and 10/01 (equal parts, or slightly more ash than gold) to tone hair after bleaching. 1 part color mixture to 2 parts 10 volume developer. I’ve used the dedicated developer but it makes no difference. I leave it on like 15 minutes. It’s a nice beige blonde! Sometimes maybe a little yellow but I’m going through a warm phase Color touch is Demi permanent, which is fine for toning but not the best for covering grays. For that, you should try Koleston.

Excellent product - and much more suitable for my roots (on medium brown hair that's dry and thin) than Kolestron. Not only did the color present more evenly and accurately, it's far gentler. so far, the longevity has been impressive.
