My cat has been fed the same food pretty much since being a kitten. She gets the some greenies in the morning, and then a dried chicken treat when I come home from work. I came across this brand when my previous brand went unavailable for some reason. It had great reviews so I figured I would try it. First thing I noticed was the construction of the "nibs". I guess these are for larger animals maybe. So I break a couple in half and give them to my cat. Second thing I noticed was how intact they all were. No more dust and broken bits filling the bottom of the bag. Also, love the quality ingredients. At first she was confused as they were not the normal style I give her. But she eventually came around to eating them and loves them. I will probably stick with this brand as they seem easier to get, and this huge bag will last longer.

Vital essential can never go, do be mindful there are dried bones in some pieces but, they already mentioned and is really big so I see it I think vital essential has really great ingredients. That’s why I always buy it. The quality top. I’d say it worth the money because it’s real meat and fresh. I do like the crunchy ones better cause the soft nipples are almost just like the squares and really soft. Smells like meat

So my cat really likes this. A whole lot more than Stella and chewys freeze dried but this one is a tad more expensive per ounce and like others have mentioned, there are a little tiny bone fragments in it. It kind of concerned me a bit. Only because they were like sharp needles just not as long. And if you are used to crumbling them up a bit before adding water, you need to be careful because they can poke you. But don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t an excessive amount of bone fragments. But I want to mention it in case it might concern another buyer. With all that being said my cat absolutely love this food. My cat did not have any trouble eating it, but the thought of the tiny pieces of bone will probably keep me from purchasing it again.

My cat loves these "soft" pellets. I love that i dont have to tear the blocks up for her to have bite size bits. I (we, her & me) dont love the rotting carcass smell this last bag has. She still asks for them, i think, but doesn't eat em. So after she has ignored them for a day or so, i toss em outside. Someone eats them after they are less putrid smelling. Hesitant to get a 3rd bag of them. Have to hope the next bag isn't as gross smelling. She is loving the beef&chicken entre one, (first bag of the soft pellets. She loves the patty version, too.)

my cats love this so so much, unfortunately it's far too expensive for me to buy regularly unless it is on sale. i initially purchased on flash sale and i hope it goes on sale again soon because my cats truly enjoyed it. seems like high quality, tasty, and nutritious food. smells awful, but doesn't all cat food?

Manufacturing process is reckless and leaves many large bone/beak fragments that could pose a choking risk for cats or damage to their teeth. Pictured are all the inedible fragments I removed from ONE bowl of duck entree food. The pieces pictured are hard as rocks and I discovered them as I was mashing the food because they literally made a “clink” sound against the fork. I can understand a piece here and there but this much is excessive and took me almost a half hour to find and dig them all out. I never have this issue with Stella & Chewy products and will no longer be purchasing this brand.

cat LOVES it! and since she is on a restricted diet now due to allergies, I was happy to find this. Have already ordered again. She will eat it plain, crumbled over her wet food, or moistened by itself.

Use this as supplements for a skinny/ finiky cat that doesn't eat enough. The fat cat unfortunately loves them too.
