The seeds terminated well and this was much less expensive as compared to buying at a big box store.

After a long winter of my dog being hard on the grass, I ordered this each spring to repair the urine patch that was created over the winter. It is easy to use and very effective makes the grass grow quickly and thick. I first fertilize with lime and gypsum to neutralize the soil then I use this grass seed and then I put about a half an inch of topsoil over it and just water the heck out of it every day and I have beautiful grass growing within two weeks. it’s my spring go to for my yard every year.

It works if you closely follow the instructions. I bought this since it said it grew in shaded areas. I had a large patch of dirt that needed to regrow grass in an area with very little sunlight. I was hoping I could just sprinkle it on and have some regrow in a couple of weeks. I spread it around and then made sure to water it regularly. After a week I could see some sprouting in areas that got more sun. After another week the areas with growth had a decent density of grass coming through. Other areas I got nothing. So I went back to the empty areas and made sure to follow the instructions on prepping. The empty areas received less sunlight so I knew they would be problematic. After a week I saw some sprouting come through. Another week and have some decent growth. So it will work if you do the prepping and maintenance. I had other spots in my lawn that I just threw some straw on, but these areas aren't so picky. The EZ seed did regrow quicker than the just strawed areas which is what I was hoping for. Is the density and variety of grass perfect? Well it has left some room to be desired. Was it as EZ as advertised? Not exactly as EZ as they make it seem. So I would recommend the product but it would come with some caveats.

This really works! I set up a controlled experiment using two 2 different sod mats and then using Scotts EZ Seed Patch &.Repair-all in 3 side by side sections of my lawn. They all received the same rain and sun. After one week, the only one showing true gras progress was the. Scotts EZ Seed Patch &.Repair section. So I pulled up the other sections and seeded them with Scotts EZ Seed Patch &.Repair and I’m sitting back and Looking forward to watching my lawn Grow.

I carefully followed all instructions. It was for a area where a stump was removed about 10 x 10 square. I added about 4 inches of premium top soil over where the stump was. My landscaper even was involved and helped prepare the area. I watered religiosity twice a day and made sure the soil stayed moist. After 3 weeks, the results were awful! Only a few seeds showed germination and growth. I'm done with Scotts products. I'm now starting over with another grass seed. Thanks Scotts for wasting 3 weeks of my life.

I already attempted application with a generous amount of seed, watered, no grass….. none came up. I will reapply and water, water, water again, but I’m disappointed that no grass at all came up.

Easy to use. Filled in several bare spots in the yard with one application. The centipede grass is my favorite for thickening lawn quickly.

Seems to be a good product. Grass is growing!
