Lightweight, Comfortable, and Great for Taekwondo Training
I've trained in several different martial arts shoes over the years, and these Daedo KIX shoes are among the more comfortable pairs I've worn. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight they feel. They don't add unnecessary bulk, which makes footwork, kicking drills, and quick directional changes feel natural. The fit is snug without feeling restrictive. The microfiber upper has enough flexibility to move with your foot, and the elastic design helps keep the shoes comfortable during longer training sessions. I didn't experience any rubbing or pressure points, even after wearing them for extended practice. Traction is another strong point. The rubber outsole provides good grip on typical training surfaces while still allowing smooth pivots and transitions. That balance is important for Taekwondo, where you need stability without feeling stuck to the floor. Build quality also appears solid. The stitching and materials feel well put together, and the shoes have held their shape well after repeated use. They look clean and professional and are suitable for both regular training and competition settings. The only thing to keep in mind is that these are specialized martial arts shoes, so they aren't designed to provide the cushioning of a running shoe. Their focus is mobility, flexibility, and floor feel, which is exactly what most Taekwondo practitioners want. Overall, these are excellent Taekwondo shoes that combine comfort, grip, lightweight performance, and quality construction. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, they're a strong choice for training and competition.

Great TKD shoe, however this was needed for an upcoming event. I ordered a size 8 for my son and what I got is a size 10...seriously people. Do better. Now he will have to use a different TKD shoes for this upcoming event.

Great shoes
I am not a Taekwondo practitioner or a participant in any type of martial arts, I was attracted to these shoes as a general workout shoe. I was not disappointed in receiving and trying these shoes. First, these shoes are very comfortable. I wear a size 8.5 and have about a D width foot, however, I have very high arches. It is not uncommon for me to have a shoe fit in every way other than across my arch. These shoes fit very well and are very comfortable. The laces that come up and tie on the inside of the foot probably contribute to the comfort of the shoes and the good fit across the arch. I like the fact that these shoes have zero drop. I wear these shoes for workouts doing a lot of calisthenics and kettlebell work. These shoes are fantastic for my workouts. The soles of the shoes have a good amount of grip and cushioning, however, they are not overly soft. The cost of these shoes was 68.99 (US) at the time of my purchase. Given the overall quality of the shoes, I think that is a fair price for these shoes.

personally used for light training, but it holds up
These Taekwondo shoes feel lightweight and flexible, which makes them comfortable for quick footwork, pivots, and basic training drills. The microfiber upper has a clean look and gives enough movement without feeling stiff. The rubber outsole provides decent traction on training surfaces, helping with control during stances and kicks. I also like that the lace up design gives a more secure fit than slip on martial arts shoes. They are not water resistant, so I would keep them for indoor training rather than outdoor use. The price is a little high, but the shoes feel specialized and well suited for Taekwondo practice. Overall, these are comfortable training shoes with good flexibility and grip for martial arts use.

Seam splitting open
Loved these shoes, but after only wearing them five times, the outer layer on one of them is splitting at the seam. Theyโve been working great, but I need them to be able to hold up while Iโm on the mat.
