Ok I’m not a big reviewer but I had to write about this awesome monitor. I’ve got four kids, so I feel like I’ve tried every monitor on the planet at this point, and when I saw it on Tim Tebow’s wife’s account I thought, why not try one more?! And I’m SO happy I did! Total game changer. The 10-inch is PERFECT. I can glance over and instantly see what’s going on without having to walk over and pick it up or squint. It honestly feels more like a little TV than a monitor. The picture quality is crystal clear (day and night), and it doesn’t drop connection, or have any annoying beeps like my old ones constantly did. I can actually trust it, which is priceless when you’re juggling multiple kids and just need peace of mind. They also have some audio feature thing that allows you to select transmission of sound when it matters! Don’t know how it works but I LOVE it. Now a little roll over onto a loud squishee won’t come through but cries will! Genius. I’m a light sleeper so this is actually the best part of this system for me. Setup was ridiculously easy too. I had it up and running in minutes. I’m so grateful there isn’t a subscription like with Nanit and all the others. Bottom line, this is worth every penny. I’m just so impressed and am officially a Harbor super fan. I didn’t realize how much mental space my old monitor was taking up until I switched. Now I actually feel like I can relax once the kids are down. Thank you Harbor for making the perfect monitor!!

Unlike some other baby monitors that store data on third-party cloud services, I feel 100% secure with Harbor knowing that my baby’s images and sounds stay private and in my control. For those of us who travel, this monitor is perfect. The setup is incredibly easy, and it works flawlessly with both the monitor and my phone. I recently welcomed my second child, and was really looking for a more reliable baby monitor than my previous one. My old monitor had just become unreliable and lost connection often. It was important to me that a baby monitor had a parent monitor, as well as access to an app. As a mom with a full time job, I like to check the monitor when I'm at work, while the caretaker has access to the parent monitor. The Harbor monitor honestly had everything I was looking for. Although the price was high, I decided to go for it. I have been extremely happy with the results! It was easy to connect the monitor and camera. The picture quality is amazing. I also love the smart sound feature. I can enjoy the quiet of my room, but when my baby begins crying for a duration that I feel comfortable setting, then the monitor sound turns on. It also helps me not to excessively and obsessively be looking at the monitor. The settings also allow me to personalize and specify the intensity of crying and the duration for the alerts. I also want to mention the customer service. The original monitor we received was having an issue charging. I reached out to customer service and immediately had a response. Their team sent me a new parent monitor with a cable and since then I've had no issues! There are still some features I'm playing around with, but overall I am extremely happy and will be recommending to future parents!

Although the customer service is very professional and responsive, this isn't the experience I'd expect for a product at this price range. It should have no issues out of the box and not need any support. The biggest problem is when you put the camera in direct mode to not use the internet, it will automatically switch to standard mode by itself randomly, which will basically have the device turning on its internet connection. I see this as a major security and privacy issue. It also loses connection all the time and needs to be restarted. Customer service suggests checking for updates, resetting it, turning it to standard mode and then back to direct, or other suggestions I've lost track of. After it starts working with all updates it shouldn't stop working so many times. This isn't worth it for what you're paying.
