We started our exclusively breastfed 6 weeks old on baby formula and he was severely constipated for 2 days, he did not pass any stool, he was in a lot of pain, he kept crying as his tummy was so hard, nothing would work as he could not even pass wind... I steeped 1 teabag in 50ml of boiled water and gave it to baby with his milk with 2 different feeds... It did take a couple of hours to work but this is the 3rd FULL ON nappy that I am changing (no idea how this much poop can come out of a baby!)... Needless to say, I am pleased, baby seems comfortable now and I will continue to use this tea when baby gets constipated. The flavor is acceptable, not that strong and baby doesn't mind it. Great for babies, as my one just couldn't poo and he is throwing up if any medication goes in his stomach like infacol,calpol etc. He loves this tea and is really helpful for colic two.

It tastes good but do not leave the tea bag in for long because it will make the tea taste too strong. If my baby was constipated I had this tea in the morning and evening and I also gave him few drops during the day which made him pooh in the evening or next day morning.

Good for colic
