O.M. Scott & Sons Strawberry Clover Seed, 2 lbs.

This clover seed was easy to use, as soon as i got it three days ago, i planted them in my front yard and back. Along with a small planter indoor for letting animals play in. Three days is all it took for sprouts to show up with the outdoor having leaves already and the indoor is showing sprouts strongly. Beautiful color and fast growing, would recommend for the price to quantity and quality.I do recommend keeping the seeds moist for fast growth.

This clover is the really tiny variety, which is nice! It stays close to the ground and acts as a decent ground cover. Easy to use: Just follow the directions, paying close attention to the time of year to plant, amount of water needed before it is established and the amount of light needed to keep it healthy. From what I can tell, every seed sprouted and is now growing very well.A little pricy for the quantity, but the quality cannot be beat.

Overall I'm pleased with these seeds, though the germination rate has been a bit hit and miss. This could have more to do with my soil than anything and that the recent rain may have disturbed the seeds from sprouting. I would have expected to see some progress by now, but since they're seeds and those seem rather hard to get wrong, I'll claim user error. I appreciate that the package included a good amount of product and I liked the packaging. I will say it felt a little crass to see so much talk about utilizing the brand's other products to spread the seeds when by hand truly works just fine. It seemed a bit contrarian to the green-washed branding they've opted for here.

Well....it grew but all we got was wood sorrel and purselane, not the strawberry clover we purchased. So I guess it is viable seed but they aren't labeling or tracking their seed correctly.

I bought the O.M. Scott and Sons Clover Seed because I was sold on the dream: low maintenance, drought-tolerant, eco-friendly, practically mows itself while paying your taxes. Amazing!So I lovingly scattered this magical green fairy dust across my lawn like a suburban Johnny Appleseed. Watered it. Whispered sweet encouragements. Waited. And… yeah. Still waiting.Did it work? Maybe.Do I have clover growing? Possibly.Is it just a bunch of enthusiastic weeds pretending to be clover to boost my self-esteem? Almost certainly.Pros:Comes in a bag. That’s a strong start.Spreads easily. I am now emotionally AND literally invested all over my yard.The idea of it is fantastic—like the Pinterest version of lawn care.Cons:Germination progress is currently classified as a “mystery thriller.”My neighbor’s dog peed on it, which might be the most action it’s seen.Starting to suspect this seed is just playing hard to get.To be fair, maybe it takes time. Maybe the clover is working underground, silently plotting its beautiful, green, drought-resistant takeover. Or maybe I just bought a bag of hope and delusion. Who’s to say?For now, 3 stars—for potential. If anything actually grows, I’ll come back and revise this review from “skeptical gardening comedy” to “miracle lawn gospel.”

We had a house fire! It was small, we are all fine! But our grass was not! My yard was a mess! A few weeks of cleaning and raking and work and the ground was RAW. Nothing was growing back. So my daughter showed me this clover.It’s so easy to use, throw down and water! And believe it o not it’s the ONLY thing that had grown in the burnt area. We had months without rain here. The ground was dry and then the fire. I just thought nothing was gonna grow but it was totally worth it. It’s now lush and green and removed some of the ugly reminder of a fought couple months for us.Highly recommend this for patch or for bare areas. Bang for your buck and easy and durable too. if you’re like us and would like a clover lawn to feed the bees and make your pets happy. Our dog rolls in it now like it’s the best perfume. Highly recommend.

As an experiment I seeded some patches with fescue, bluegrass, and this clover. The clover is by far the fastest to germinate and so far it seems to be holding up through some dry spells. I think it’s eventually supposed to spread? Time will tell.
