This is an amazing set of dice that look beautiful. The balance of each dice is pretty good. A nice value for your money. The spin time could be better/worse but for the weight of the dice it is very nice. With these dic and it's case basically being solid metal I'd say the durability is great.

Overall, I am happy with what I received though there are some problems with it. The balance of the d20 and the d12 leave to be desired. Both of these dice have a much higher likelihood of rolling a face closer to the "bullet" side of the dice as opposed to the "primer" side of the dice, making them purely a novelty due to the imbalance. This balance is not an issue with the d6 as though it is a copy of the d12 shape, the numbers are placed such that even if it only rolled the half of faces closer to the "bullet" end, it would still be a fair dice. With the version that I got, the rotating cylinder the dice can sit in was drilled off center. At the bottom it wobbles a fairly noticeable amount, with which I attribute the loud noise of the bearings to. With everything else I am quite happy with it. I like the black which my dice came in, the polished feel of the set feeling good to fiddle with. I was happy with the size of the dice, being bigger than the majority of other bullet dice for sale. The fabric belt for holding the dice for transport does its job well enough. The dice don't have balance issues in my experience (aside from the previously mentioned d20 and d12), making me feel comfortable using them for actual play. I would have preferred a somewhat better product for the money given the issues I had. As far as novelty dice, they are alright. I do wish they sold a brass-colored version with the same finish as the black dice, as the brushed look of the bronze dice from the images looks a bit much.

Let's break these monsters down by what you really want to know! Q: How tough is it? A: Our Barbarian can't seem to damage it, so I'd say at least 9/10 Q: Are they really that heavy? A: The barrel acts as an improvised bludgeoning weapon and deals 2d10 damage. If all bullets are loaded, it knocks your target prone on a failed Dex save (DC18) Q: Is it really solid metal or just imitation with metal parts? A: Artificer can confirm it's solid, barrel bullets and all. Q: How long can it spin? A: Both the Fighter and Monk used their action, reaction, bonus action, and action surges. It was still spinning. So a while. Q: Does it look like the picture or is the picture dolled up to make it look better than it really is? A: The Rogue keeps trying to steal it, and I'm pretty sure the Bard is trying to make it swoon. Do with that what you will... Summary? Excellent gift for any nerd, Dungeon Master or seeker of adventure. 10/10
