Super quality. Really good value for money. Has a privacy cap you can put on and off easily. Twist the lens to focus is a great wee feature. Only criticism is that I have to adjust the focus again every time I remove the cap because it's attached to the focus lens.

Works perfectly fine on Linux and Windows. No drivers needed. The button on the top to flip the image works well, and also remembers the last setting following a reboot. The lense has a manual focus, which works well and better than most software based focus on other cameras The stand/clamp is nice and sturdy, allowing easy mounting anywhere. I mainly picked it for this reason, as other cameras clamp onto the monitor and cause a small section to be hidden. This was easy to mount without disturbing the monitor.

Works just fine. Came with a 2 year manufacturer warranty. The Dynamic range isn't great as in natural light from a window the image will be too bright and lowering the brightness on the camrea to make up for it loses too much detail on the darker parts of the image. Though the general camera quality is good. The poseability is amazing; it's surprisingly stiff and keeps its place. The clip is stable and works to attach to more things then you'd think, e.g. I have a metal bar in my room which it could easily attach to. The privacy cover is fine, it isn't attached to the camera but you can easily loosley tie it to the stem to keep it handy when needed. It's pretty secure on there and I don't think it would fall off. Camera also has a green light while active.

I bought this webcam in January 2026 for my work laptop as I have my laptop on a shelf and needed a webcam that was flexible to change position and could be adjusted, after reading the reviews I went with this product. Firstly - the quality of the video is okay, and it was easy to plug in and use immediately (I work in the NHS and was worried my NHS laptop wouldnt be happy about this external device but it recognised it and used it straight away which was good). The issues though: - It doesnt stay stable - the wire is bendy but for me I just couldnt get it to stay still and not continuously move position. I ended up having to blue tac the back of it to the shelving unit - which worked for a while - but annoyingly the wire would then block parts of the screen so I would have to keep moving it. Now today (April 2026, 4 months later) - I've logged on to set up a teams meet and gone to test the devices (good practice before a meeting, if you know you know!) - and its saying "camera failed" - no lights, no nothing. Just not working. I've tried to reboot the whole system. Just dead. So for 4 months of bendy wire wobbles and then just to die on me like that, I'd give this a 1 star and would advise others to be mindful of purchasing this item unless you have a set place and dont need to move it (which feels a bit against the whole point/design of it)

After about 5 months Review - this is a great little camera, I needed an option to clip onto a shelf to do video calls, and this one fits the bill, it allows to to change orientation so you are always in frame and there's no lag , I had tried others but was struggling with lag on the video, camera quality good , Mic I use a separate mic , but have tested and it's acceptable , setup was just plug and play

Got this to use for a you tube channel, it essentially matched the functionality I needed perfectly. I wanted something that could clamp to a desk and look down on it, which the gooseneck on this does wonderfully, clip to the edge and can have it pointed downwards. 1080P resolution is fine as thats all the channel uses anyway, I'm also using this largely for "picture in picture" with some main view so it doesn't need to be higher - ok it would be nice but for the price this is good. the image is crisp and clear and the manual focus, which seemingly bad is actually spot on, the thing looks at the subject and doesn't try to refocus on hands, cats tails or anything else. not tried the built in audio, don't really need that and have it muted. the mounting neck is flexible but sturdy enough not to be rattling as I type on the same desk. its not overly long but its long enough for me. setup is plug and go, I'm using it with OBS which picked it up instantly, don't see why anything else wouldn't (this on Windows 11)

I returned this as the field of view was way too wide and you couldn't zoom in. I loved everything else about it though. Was easy to move and quality was really good. Manualnfocus but that was fine for webcam use.

I’ve been using the Danyesth Webcam for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. Great camera, once I figured out how to focus it! I was ready to return this camera because my video sessions were becoming increasingly blurry. Evidently, every time I moved the camera, I grabbed the front of the camera where there is a small focusing ring. As I turned the camera up into place, I also spun the focus ring. Once I reread the literature, I gained a crisp, sharp focus on it. Lesson learned. The ease of lowering it into place when a child tunes in from Guam, Italy, or Switzerland makes this my favorite webcam out of the five I have used.

This camera works well for the intended purpose of video calls from a more natural angle. More compact plus blocks less screen than using a regular webcam on a tripod. The clamp is strong, so I clipped it to a book instead of my monitor to prevent damage to the screen. The manual focus, image flip, and brightness adjustment work well. Since it's manual focus, you do have to sit in one spot to get a clear image, so keep that in mind. One downside is the microphone, which is of low quality and picks up a lot of background static even after adjusting the gain and using it in a very quiet room. Not a big deal considering the price and good enough for basic calls, but I use a separate microphone for more professional audio.
