Should I wash them before use to increase absorbency or are they fine to use straight away?

i am not exactly sure what you are asking but i will explain to the extend i do underestand. i think you need to wash them before you use them for the first time for SANITARY and refreshing purposes. they come in plastic packaging so they need to be cleaned before you use them. then after they are DRY (i air dry them but i guess you can just put them in a whaser dryer and it will do the trick) i use them and after the use i clean them in the sink with water so that most of the blood goes away and pop in the washer among with the rest of my clothes. they get completely clean every single time and they absord amazingly well. to give you an idea of how well they work on very heavy bleeding days for me i only use 2 per day. feel free to ask any additional questions or refrase yours in case i havent answered it.
