I love this stuff. I use it to cook everything now. The best wings I ever had by just frying them in the this beef tallow, then making my own buffalo sauce. I cook a lot jalapeños and this takes more of the heat out than butter and adds so much flavor. I thought this was expensive, but it's actually cheaper than using butter and olive oil like I was using. Another great thing is when I cook steaks it doesn't fill my house with smoke when I sear the hell out of the steak due to the tallow having a high smoke point. I really love this stuff and wish I had found it sooner.

Fantastic for frying French Fries. Came completely as expected. Yes, it was hard to open the bucket up for the first time, but I could definitely understand why they pack it so tightly. They don't want any fat leaking. It was clean, delicious and the expiration date was in January 2027 (7 months after I ordered it), so there was plenty of times to use it. Compared to competitors on Amazon, the price point here is also the best. They also offer you a discount of about 10% if you put it on automatic order, that you can set to different intervals (I didn't take the auto-refill). Very satisfied. Will definitely buy it again.

This is my first time using beef tallow! It is amazing for cheesesteaks! I only used a tablespoon for two servings, and the sirloin and ribeye (chopped) came out so juicy but not greasy! The texture is smooth, like Ghee but after opening, it goes in the fridge! Odorless! Once my truffle seasoning comes in, I will add an update on recipes! I did use a teaspoon to sauté red Argentine shrimp! I was able to develop a crust on the shrimp (just Old Bay and Tallow) and they came out plump, and delicious! I know there are many uses for it, but I’ve only had it for five days - but I’m looking forward to developing layered flavors with it! I’m developing a recipe for stuffed crescent rolls, with crab filling. Totally worth the investment! I’m also looking forward to the searing capability with steaks.

I looked for a long time for beef tallow for cooking and making my own lotions. I finally ended up ordering this. I’ve only used it once making gravy and it was good. It does have a slight smell but it’s going to and that’s ok you just have to realize that and get used to it. It’s not a strong smell nor is it a bad smell. Some have said the lid is hard to get off. My husband got a plastic paint lid remover and it worked fantastic! I’m anxious to dry with it. Please note that once it is open you have to refrigerate it so please plan on the fridge space as it’s about the size of a large container of cottage cheese. So far I’m pleased with it and so far would buy it again for the money.

Very happy with purchase - I usually make my own but hadn't been able to get the amount fat needed to make any. This is good quality, everyone says it smells good when heating up, and not an overpowering taste. Solid bright white, smooth, with no impurities. Definitely tightly sealed for freshness and protection - it's murder to get it open! Smooth and creamy, no lumps, melts fast, easy to use.

Pricey, but good. I've received 3 buckets of this tallow so far. 2 buckets were different consistency. First bucket was thick and pasty, like shortening. Second bucket was more "liquid" and oozey. The bucket seals up pretty well after each use. No complaints.

Oh my gosh, this tallow makes every thing taste wonderful! I had forgotten how good it is. I was raised n tallow and bacon grease, and real butter. Nothing like real home cooking. Nothing added, just pure beef tallow. Git cha some! ;-).

This item was totally different in color and quality the second time I ordered it, the color now is very yellow, and the texture is very weird!
