I order these all the time and lately every other one the base is broken off right out of the package. I would not recommend.

Housing with tube broke off.
I purchased and installed on my bass boat, 3 months later after a heavy rain I switched the blige pump on manual and noticed no water was coming out of boat. I opened the bilge sump up and seen water swirling under pressure. After grabbing the bilge hose that was just laying in sump area, it wasn't attached to anything. When I pulled the hose up and seen the discharge tube from bilge pump was broke off and pieces was inside the hose. The housing with discharge tube was cracked off main housing so pump was just circulating inside sump area. Now I have to buy another bilge pump, but it will not be this brand.

Don't buy these
The first one is still working after about 10 hours of use. The second one froze up in less than 20 minutes of use. The replacement also froze up in less than 30 minutes of use.
