These are good value, good quality, and can be used for most ph probes, like Apera, HM Digital or Essentials PH meters. Usually, instructions will say how to store a PH probe, and as long as it says to store or refresh in 3 molar KCl (potassium chloride solution), these are suitable. My Apera probe does not have to be stored in KCl all the time, but if you store it dry, it can affect accuracy, and you're told to immerse it in KCl for at least 30 mins before use, which is what I mean by "refresh". I prefer to store mine in KCl all the time, as I think it helps extend the life of the probe. Usually, different cleaning solutions are recommended depending on nature of the contamination. For grease or general cleaning, detergent, or detergent with bleach is usually recommended. This is 1 molar HCl (hydrochloric acid), which is usually recommended for protein contamination or salt build-up, which could result from fertilisers, so I shall use it regularly, now I have it. I wouldn't have bought a separate cleaning solution, but as both come together at a very decent price for the amount.. The bottles have a child proof "depress and twist" cap, which personally, I hate, but can see why.. a measuring cup is included, and the bottles are foil sealed. Storage solution only needs changing every 2 weeks or so, and you only need about 10 ml each time, so both should last a while. Looking after PH probes is well worth it, as they only have limited life expectancy, about 1 year, depending on frequency and type of use, and how well you look after it. Considering what it is, I find that most companies vastly over-charge for storage solutions, and am not willing to pay for Apera's stuff, so have been using other products with no ill effects - often, instructions say you should only use their brand for storage, calibration and cleaning, but as long as it's the same ingredients, you can use any brand, in my experience. So would recommend these..

very good gear I've had problems with pH meters before reading wrong I have a very good one now and to keep it sharp I have probe cleaner in the cap all the time it's waterproof and it does work definitely
