This is a really good hair oil! It definitely has some heft to it (rich feeling) but not too heavy. It has that amazing African Pride signature smell and it is perfect for low-porosity 3c/4a hair. It absorbs well into the hair. A little goes a long way. It’s such a great alternative to the Amika starfruit oil without the cost! Best benefit, it is formulated without harsh chemicals.

Doused my hair and put on a cap and went to bed. Woke up the next day and my hair was curly without frizz or any other products and stayed that way even with my playing with it numerous times. This has never happened and it was one of the first times my hair has stayed down all day. Feels weightless and smells great; I've received many compliments! I like the large bottle size and the way the cap screws. My hair did not get greasy until about day 4.

First, this oil smells SO good. But I bought it for the combination of oils that I was looking for. Well, most of them. I add a little jamaican black castor oil but not enough to make a big change in the smell or the lightness of the oil. I've been using it for a few months and it's keeping my scalp from drying out. It doesn't make my scalp itch and did I mention the smell? It's a keeper!

Makes my hair, soft and manageable no heavy oil and I love the way it night. It is worth the price.
