Great cameras with solid features and amazing customer support!
I am very satisfied with these cameras, the build and the whole adjustment options exceeded my expectations, the video quality is good, and the AI detection works well overall, even if it occasionally misses a beat. The built-in spotlight and night vision are both great, also one of my cameras had a night vision defect, but customer support was excellent and quickly sent a replacement that works perfectly. They integrate well with Apple Home, and I completely recommend them!

Very excellent camera
This is a really high-quality camera, great color, depth of field, clarity... a big step up from my old nest cameras. It's full color night vision is shockingly good. Setup was an absolute breeze as it connected automagically with my matter/threads/Apple homekit without me having to really do anything. My ONLY comment is that is slightly large... If you want a discreet little camera, this is not it. I'll be buying at least one more of these and a Aqara indoor camera also.

Near perfect Apple Home camera
Good: -Great low light performance with colours. -The built-in light can be controlled separately and it is exposed as an individual Matter device, so you can create automations with it, such as turning on when motion is detected by the camera. -Microphone pickup is good and the built-in speaker is loud. -There's a dedicated motion detection sensor - it doesn't rely on image analysis. -The wireless performance is very good. -There's an integrated Thread border router that expands your mesh even further, improving the responsiveness of other devices around the camera. Bad: -Power input is USB type C only, which isn't great for outdoors installations. You now need to find a way to transform an AC outlet to USB that is weatherproof, adding more complexity to the setup. This isn't a problem on the PoE version, of course. -The camera works straight out of the box with Apple Home, but firmware update wasn't possible through there, requiring the Aqara app to execute. Apparently you also need the Aqara app to expose the built-in Thread border router identifier in order to add it to your existing Thread mesh. All in all, you still need Aqara app and send your data to China.

Amazing feature packed outdoor camera for HomeKit
Absolutely amazing device. I am glad I waited for this instead of getting a different brand. Very heavy duty and the incredibly bright spotlight was a pleasant surprise. I had to use a different mount because the tiny screws wouldn’t work for my vinyl siding and I ended up getting a longer power cable, but those are my only two complaints. Onboarding in the Aqara app was seamless and then I connected it to HomeKit and it joined my existing Thread network, then enabled the Matter connection so that the bridge would expose any future devices that I add to it. NAS setup was a breeze and has some great features that let me control how long the videos are stored for on a rolling basis. Onboard local storage is possible but there’s not a lot of storage space and no Sd card slot. Video quality is amazing and this is the best night vision I have seen. I will definitely be adding another one of these very soon. Wish I had the option to setup POE but the WiFi connection is strong and stable.

Great camera, great day & night clarity - attempted to catch fire!
Further update Aqara contacted me after my update about the burned cord and offered me a refund. I replied accepting their refund, and a day or so later they contacted me back claiming they had no record of the conversation. At this point, it has been about a month since the offered refund, but I am yet to receive it. To be clear, I did not contact them, and I did not expect a refund, but their false offer was a little confusing. I own a lot of Aqara gear, but I'm not sure what to make of this whole situation. One month update: I mounted this camera outside on my back patio about a month ago, a couple days ago I noticed it went offline and never came back. I checked on it, and realized the USB-C port must have caught fire or something, because it is charred and swollen. Oddly enough, the power brick seems to be completely unaffected, it is only the USB-C plug on the Aqara cable. The plug was extremely hot when I pulled it out. I let it cool down and used a dry cloth to clean it up, then tried plugging it in to a different power brick, but the camera won’t turn on. The camera was mounted on the outside wall of my back patio door under a small roof, and the power cord and plug was inside a weatherproof outlet cover (standard outdoor outlet cover for US homes). I have contacted Aqara, but have not heard back. I’m not sure what to make of the situation, but I’m hoping they respond and help figure out what went wrong. For now, dropping to one star since the camera only survived a few weeks outdoors on a covered patio before attempting to catch fire. Super disappointed since I have a LOT of Aqara products. Original review: I’m a huge Aqara fan—I’ve got a ton of their gear—so it’s no surprise I had high expectations for this camera, and it largely delivered. The build quality is solid, as I’ve come to expect from the brand, and the image sharpness is exceptional, both day and night, with motion capture that’s impressively reliable. That said, the Wi-Fi signal strength could use a boost; I noticed it struggles a bit compared to my iPhone in the same spot. To be fair, the signal isn’t great for either device there, but the phone holds up better, while the camera occasionally disconnects. It’s worth keeping in mind if you’re planning to place it on the fringes of your Wi-Fi range. Other nitpicks: the included USB cable is shorter than I’d like, and it’s a bummer they didn’t toss in a power brick. Still, those are minor gripes for an otherwise stellar product that fits right into my Aqara / Apple HomeKit ecosystem

Terrific Camera
I needed to replace one of my Arlo cameras because it died an early death. Bought this G5 Pro with some trepidation being that it is "frequently returned". The Physical Installation was a breeze and I had no problems with the App or getting it connected with homekit. Verdict: infinitely better camera than the Arlo, better image, better low light performance, better response time. I will be replacing all of my remaining Arlos.

Best nine subscription camera.
Moving from Vivint, which is a pay subscription, to Aqara, which is not, Aqara has equal to, if not better cameras like this one here, no regrets. I also purchased two more for my home, replacing the three that I had for Vivint.

🔹 Prezzo e rapporto qualità/prezzo Io l’ho acquistata in sconto a circa 150€, e secondo me vale tutti i soldi spesi. Voto: 9/10

Works better than I expected.
I've had this for a while now and I really like it. I had to drill a hole in the outside wall to feed the WiFi cable into the house which was a little worrisome but it was easier than I thought. It leaves me with a little comfort to be able to see what is happening at any given time and also to know it is recording detections. The night view is fantastic. I might buy another one for inside the house.

super Kamera, digital perfekt in vielen Umgebungen
ZB rotes Kontroll-Licht. Ich weiß jetzt: Signal für HomeKit Aufzeichnung

Fast connection, easy to set up, great Camera.
Camera is incredible, a little on the large side but works so well. This camera is fast and connects quicker than any other HomeKit secure video cameras I have (I have five from other manufacturers). App is also great with lots of other features available. I am using through Apple home and have no issues or disconnects, solid camera.
