How does it turn out?** A: This is how I make it: 2 cups of heavy cream 3 cups of whole milk 1 cup of sugar Mix the 2 cups of heavy cream + 2 cups of whole milk and heat up until simmering, keep it low to avoid burning it. Mix the other cup of whole milk with 1 cup of sugar until dissolve. When simmering, add the milk sugar mix and continue simmering for at least 5 min. Take let it rest constantly mixing it. Keep in the fridge and mix constantly. Then put it in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours, close to frozen. It will get thicker. I looked at other tubs but this brand seemed to have the best reviews, was reusable, and decent in price. They fit about 1.5 quarts and I have a little extra in the machine that I either eat or just put in a small Tupperware dish.
