In the tradition of THE PRINCESS DIARIES, Disney's FREAKY FRIDAY is the extremely funny and heartwarming comedy everyone will love. Dr. Tess Coleman (the hilarious Jamie Lee Curtis) and her teenage daughter Anna (rockin' Lindsay Lohan) have one thing in common -- they don't relate to each other on anything. Not clothes or men or Anna's passion to be in a rock band. Nothing. Then one night a little mystic mayhem changes their lives and they wake up to the biggest freak-out ever. Tess and Anna are trapped inside each other's body! But Tess's wedding is Saturday and the two must find a way to switch back -- fast! Literally forced to walk in each other's shoes, will they gain respect and understanding for the other's point of view? Filled with comedy, rock 'n roll and lots of heart, FREAKY FRIDAY is freaking fun everyone can enjoy together Review: One of the best funny, family movies, especially for tweens & teens! - This movie was epic 🙌. It took me so many years to watch it, I’m so very glad that we finally got to, as a family. It’s a great family flick for a rainy day or family fun night. I feel that It’s easiest to understand if the child is like in the tween-teen ages, but I don’t find it inappropriate for a bit younger, like 10 or so, but it may be harder to keep track of things, fully understand, and questions might be raised along the way. It’s also may be more of a maturity level then an age. If you have a smart 9 year old.. this is fine, just saying :). Jaime lee Curtis & Linsey Lohan shine in this film! I bought the DVD so we can keep it up at our camper & watch it time and again. The storyline, the ending.. everything was SO great! They don’t make many (if any) movies quite like this anymore. BRING BACK THE GOOD ‘OL DAYS!!! Definitely, 5 stars from me & my girls 👍! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ** I hope my review has been helpful 😊.** Review: Jamie Lee is Fantastic - This Is A Great Family Film! - Directed by Mark Waters (Mean Girls, Head Over Heals) this is one of those rare remakes where the premise is the same but the twist on modernizing really works. It is funny and extremely well character developed. The story is that of a modern day mom and daughter who are opposites and at odds with each other. All mothers and daughters argue and in the heat of the moment may say things they really dont mean at the time. Through the mystical magic of an Asian Woman and a fortune cookie the mothers get the wish they switch bodys and not for any particular time period but they get to go back when they realize what their relationship is all about. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween, True Lies, House Arrest) in one of the best comedic performances in her career. She is so great with her timing and attitude because she basically goes from being a middle-aged woman to a teenager. He use of the language, mannerism and her comic timing is perfect. Jamie is clever and inventive and took her performance to the top. She is hysterical in the real business world playing her mother- a Lawyer. Supported by Lindsay Lohan (Life Size, The Parent Trap) as her daughter who sharpens her performance as an overbearing, professional middle-aged women in a teenagers body. They spend the remainder of the movie trying to figure out, very comically how to get back into each others original body. Mark Harmon (Chicago Hope, Wyatt Earp) plays the sympathetic and confused fiancé for the recently divorced Jamie Lee. The little brother played by Ryan Malgarini (Gilmore Girls) gets caught in the middle and is hysterical in his confusion. This film is great fun for the whole family. And will be available in December on DVD. Dont miss it. It is very good and extremely wholesome. (11-10-03)

Classic early 2000’s movie!
My daughter never had seen this so we watched it before watching the remake. She was cracking up the entire time at the jokes and story plot line. She even said “they don’t make movies funny like this anymore”. She’s almost 20. She gets it! lol. Great movie, highly recommend to watch

A fun, laugh-out-loud movie for the whole family
Love this movie! It is timeless. I remember watching it with my mom as a kid, my kids and I have watched it and now we've watched it again before going to see Freakier Friday. If you like a funny, well-written movie with fantastic actors that the whole family can watch together, you don't want to miss Freaky Friday!

Funny
This is good entertainment for ages 13 + I am not sure if younger children would get the humor.

Good fun, good message
A funny, crazy movie with a good message, that's how I describe Freaky Friday. The message is this: you can't really understand a person unless you've walked in their shoes. My husband and I enjoyed this. Both Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan acted their parts well. No sex. No violence. A few "hells", but otherwise no profanity. I recommend this for preteens and older.
