This works great to mask speaking sounds using a neutral sounding noise. You can vary the sound by rotating a simple mechanical cap with holes that allows you to make it louder or softer. It is exactly what I thought it would be. It is nicely built and it works! The colour is old-fashioned but I really don't care that much, since it does it's job well.

Contacte con el servicio a cliente porque realmente el tiempo que lo usamos nos encanto el producto y queríamos ver si había alguna alternativa. Muy amablemente nos explicaron que este producto NO FUNCIONA CON EL VOLTAJE EN MEXICO, y el motor se quema, así que hay que comprar el Dhom CLASSIC. Ellos me devolvieron mi dinero apesar de que ya había pasado mi periodo de gracia en amazon y pude comprar este nuevo modelo que es increible!

THis is a simple white noise generator that uses a fan assembly inside. THis is a model that has been in production since 1962 and this company was the first to use this system. After buying and returning a Conair machine that uses looping I must say I am pleased with how this unit works. All it does is turn on and the fan starts turner internally and you adjust the noise generated by turning the top of the unit..simple and effective.... NO need for all the other digitized looping sounds that other machines produce along with extraneous noise.

I purchased this white noise machine 2yrs ago. I barely used it and a couple days ago I turned it on and in the morning it wasn’t working anymore and haven’t worked since then… I’m a little surprised since it is the mechanical of a fan and even if the warranty is one year I would have expect it would have last longer… Wrote to support and got no answer which is deceiving since they clearly wrote we should feel free to contact them.
