Sturdy product that is well made. It was very easy to put together - only took about 5 minutes from unboxing, and it is a well made product that is relatively lightweight, so is easy to move around. In terms of height, it is about waist high on the average adult. I have it set up on a 3-season porch and love it, though it can also be used outdoors as there it hasn't rusted. Also easy to store in the basement during the winter months as it breaks down easily into pieces. It looks great!

Easy to assemble, no tools required, does the job nicely. Caution if you have a wise owl hammock, mine appears to be shorter than my other hammocks and doesn’t fit properly on this stand. My other hammocks fit perfectly though.

It was packaged really well and all the parts were in a shrink wrapped package, in a little sack, tethered to the box. It's a little loose without the hammock on it, but once you have the tension of the hammock, it's rather sturdy. The poles were in fine condition and seem well made. The only thing I wish it had was rubber nubs to cover the bolts for the hooks. Otherwise a decent purchase for the price.

It's an adjustable hammock stand, Which means it will be frustrating for some people to set up and adjust it. There are instructions for the stand and they easy to follow. It's a good sturdy stand i already love it. The bag is strong and will hold the stand with ease

Great value, was worried about getting damaged pieces based on the reviews but luck favored me this time. Easy to put together, though I didn't realize the hammock was supposed to go over the forks at first. Fits my eno double nest well, just need to pull for tension and open the carabineer. Overall awesome stand for <$70

I ordered this hammock stand because I promised by wife 2 years ago that I'd build one for her, but now lumber prices are so high it was cheaper to just buy one. The box arrived damaged with one of the legs sticking out a bit. It was easy to assemble, except one of the parts that screws in to hold the arms to the base would not thread completely. The coating of the angles at the base were damaged and it was showing early signs of rust. So, I requested a replacement. The replacement was in even worse shape...although all of the parts fit correctly. I returned both and I'll be looking elsewhere. Amazon, you may want to look into how your products are handled during shipping.

It can support two kids at the same time without breaking. It is not that heavy, making it perfect to transport and use while camping. Also I can find a variety of sizes of hammock to fit for the stand. It doesn’t have many accessories compared to most outdoor gears that you may use on your trips to the countryside. Portable hammock stand may not be as good for traveling light , nevertheless still be very handy. The main advantage of hammock stand is a simple and plain look. It is not as elegant as wooden hammock stand, but remember that you are less likely to get mildew or termites and the whole construction will be a little lighter and probably affordable. The disadvantage is that you might be facing is the protective paint that can peel off and if you don’t protect it. Choosing this hammock stand , I have a spot for it in my mind. Overall this hammock stand fits my budget and my families really enjoy it.

If you want to keep this on your porch, in your yard, something like that, and you want to take as little space as possible, this is perfect. The main thing to keep in mind is this can only support up to a 9 foot hammock. There are a lot of hammocks on the market longer than that, and they won't work, so just keep that in mind. End to end it comes in closer to 10 itself. I'm unclear on the point of calling the enclosed case a carry case. You're not carrying this anywhere. First, it's way too heavy, coming in over 20 pounds (and this is one of the lightest ones I could find) second, to get it in the case you need to disassemble the entire thing to reassemble it once you get there. That's a lot of work for hammocking in the park or on the beach. That said, the case is sturdy enough to carry all that weight. Now as a storage case in winter it's perfect. Just don't get the idea you'll be lugging this thing in one hand a picnic basket in the other. That's not reasonable. It's sturdy. It didn't take that long to assemble. It's compact. The hammock fits it great. I'm happy with it.

I have an older rope hammock with spreader bars that used to hang between two trees. I wanted a frame that I could put in different places in my yard. This was exactly what I was looking for. The frame is very robust and only flexes a little under load (I’m 190 lb). It assembles easily and is light enough for two of us to maneuver it around. Others have mentioned that the pipes fit together tightly and the paint gets damaged when you assemble it. I feel that it is a small trade-off for a stable frame. The design can accommodate pretty well any size of hammock. Mine is a single-person 7’ long. One unexpected bonus was the extra locking bolt and plastic cap. Not sure I will ever need them but someone added them “just in case”. Thanks!
