I ordered a different camera last week(cheap, mini spy cam) and got exactly what I paid for, cheap product. Spent almost three hours trying to get it to connect to the app on my phone(which had a less than 2 star rating) so I gave up and returned it and bought this camera! It was only $12 more expensive than the other one but man! I should have bought two cause I love this thing so much! I just needed something small to put outside my hermit crab tank so I could watch them when I wasn’t home while they were out and about and this works just great! Set up took less than 10 minutes. Downloaded the app, connected the camera and got it positioned all in under ten minutes. The picture quality is good, the night vision is good. The only thing I’ve noticed is that when you turn on the lights, if the camera is in any way tucked behind something or close to something else that blocks the infrared light, the night vision doesn’t switch back to normal automatically. You almost have to show the camera to the light before it registers it. But all in all, it’s a wonderful little device! I like that you don’t have to pay for storage if you don’t want it. This first one is just a tank monitoring camera for me so I don’t really need any storage because it’s not for security purposes and I like that I don’t have to pay simply to view my camera. It does come with a memory card feature that seems to be viewable from the app as well. That being said, the options for the cloud service that it DOES give you are very reasonably priced. $20 for an entire year with a 14 day continuous recording time is almost unbeatable! Very happy with this purchase and I am going to be buying more from this company! For reference, I pay $50 a month for my Vivint service and it’s not that great! Lol!

Sofar works well pros setup was very easy. download app make an account plug in the camera and follow the app instructions and it worked perfect for the 2 cameras I got cloud storage for motion detection works well and cost $2.50 a month per cam clear video mic works very well SD card storage offer both motion and continuous recording it has a webpage for viewing via PC can save sd card video to your phone digital zoom works well Cons You can't access the sd card on the webpage. this would be really handy for saving video to the pc no ipad app so your stuck with the phone app no 3rd party support beyond alexa and google hubs and is clunky and pauses often on google hub making it useless this camera is worth the under $40 price tag as it does work well for a security cam it would be a 5 star for me if it had the features I listed as cons

This little economical camera has been great. I originally wanted to be able to monitor doors, and this was cheaper than 2 door sensors. I have been pleasantly surprised by how useful the camera is. I never have trouble accessing the camera remotely and there are no cloud storage fees and no additional hub required. You just need an SD card. There was an update that fixed what I would consider a minor security issue where you could access a portal that would allow a reset of the camera if you were on the same network (no password needed). Now there aren't any open ports for this sort of thing so I'm happy with that update. If you remove the SD card and put it in a PC, you can't view the videos. The file sizes match up with what one might expect, but I couldn't play them with any video player I use (VLC etc.) as if they were secured and only view-able through the app. I like that feature for security, because if the SD card is taken there are not personal videos on it that anyone can see. Of course, if the entire camera were taken it wouldn't be hard to figure out how to do that. The included power cable is short, but it's just a micro USB so those are everywhere. The video quality is excellent and the night vision works well too. The talk feature is not very usable, but at this price the camera still deserves a 5. Motion and sound detection works well too and can be configured.

We were looking for an affordable security camera system that provides us with an easy to deploy, excellent picture and video quality. We found that and much more on the Geeni Look. The Geeni look 2 pack comes with two Wi-Fi capable cameras, this made the Geeni Look 2 pack a perfect match for us. The Geeni Look comes with an easy to follow setup instructions. Everything that will need to be done to configure the Cameras is done through the Geeni App. The only problem that we encountered during the setup process was that the App could not find the cameras via Wi-Fi, however the instruction provides an option to add the cameras to the App using QR barcode that the Geeni App generates and the camera that is been add will be able to read without any problem. The video quality is astonished. The camera can stream in SD (Standard Definition) or HD (High Definition). The camera is streaming all the time, however in order to record the video you will have to buy an micro-SD card so the video can be stored in it without having to pay extra by cloud storage. The Geeni Look cameras support up to 128GB micro-SD card. I would like to inform that the camera will start saving the video into the SD-card right after the micro-SD card is installed. Please keep in mind that the SD-Card memory information will not populate until after some time of the card been used by the camera. This camera only have a 120 degree view which makes them a challenge to cover a great area indoor. However, for our case the 120 degree view was more than sufficient. Our las point about this amazing cameras is that many people complained about the audio that the camera is able to capture, but we did not find any issue when it came to audio. Overall, we really recommend the Geeni Look as you will get a great value for your money, great night vision and great motion detection.

This little camera is cute. It blends in and is small so it won’t attract attention. The set up is easy and instructions are clear. It was only when I thought I had it turned off that I became concerned that it alerted me to movement. There is no off button, or what I thought was an off button in the app was not one. You can set a privacy button so that it won’t alert you (or so customer service said, I didn’t find that in the app), but you can’t turn it off. I asked customer service about unplugging it while at home, they don’t advise that as it may disconnect your WiFi. I’m not sure I’m comfy with a camera on all the time in my home. I also don’t think I want to be remembering to plug it in when I leave or go to bed at night., and unplugging it when I get home or get up. Too bad, because I loved the looks of this little camera, and the cost, and the idea of using a SD card to record events.

The best camera for your money!! It's so clear for a cheap camera and it has motion an sound alert. The best part is you don't have to pay for a subscription!!
