European Linen Fabric By The Yard, Cream.

The fabric was called cream , it was not , no question it was white . I could t use it for my project , unfortunately. I should have mailed it back .buyer beware it’s white

WASH THIS FABRIC in hot water FIRST. There is a lot of shrinkage that needs to happen, and obvs you want that to happen before you cut it up and sew it into something. The washed linen is spectacular. It doesn't seem to shrink after that initial wash, which is great, and the fibers tighten up so the weave is much closer after the wash. The texture and sheen of the fabric is gorgeous but is also thick and with lovely body. I sewed a slipcover for the couch with this fabric and it's holding up well under the normal couch wear plus 2 dogs running all over the couch. Huzzah!

This is an excellent linen fabric to emb. on. Stuff enough to emb, but not to stuff for a pillow. I had to emb a 12" H x 17" L pillow for a client. It's for her first GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER, due in March. I had to emb. GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER on it. This is a really excellent linen for it.

Used it to make a blanket. It worked out very well. I was a little hesitant to buy fabric on Amazon, but it ended up being exactly what I wanted. I did like how they worked out buying by the yard.

I am using this for embroidery projects and it looks and works great. Will likely purchase again once I get through this yard.
