Soft ... but too soft
Pillow was so soft that it failed to provide enough support to keep my face clear of the surface. The fix was to put rolled up towels underneath each side.

Comfortable and Practical Face Down Pillow Great for Sleeping and Recovery
I’ve been using this face down pillow for a while now, and it has made a big difference in my comfort. The cushion is very soft yet supportive, which makes it perfect for sleeping on my stomach without feeling pressure on my face. Needed for EYE Surgery Recovery
