Wish this thing would come standard with every camera I've purchased. It fixes the suction cup falling off, the double sided tape melting off, and other ridiculous reasons why all my cameras kept falling off the windshield. It literally hugs around the rearview mirror's "neck" and secures the camera in place. I bought a new cam to go with it, being as the last one had that sticky tape thing that kept melting off, so now it's just unusable. The new cam has a screw type attachment on the top that goes with a suction cup. Well this adapter brought lots of little pieces that you can choose from and it includes a few that have the little screw thing for these types of cameras. So basically replacing the suction cup with the mirror neck brace. It fit perfectly and I was able to install it in a few minutes. It hasn't fallen off or loosened so far. Seems secure. Very pleased with this invention. Thanks

The build quality of it seems pretty good especially for the price point. It comes with quite a bit of different mounts for different makes of dash cams. The one thing was… it doesn't seem like it will be to difficult to install but it can be a bit of a pain when trying to hold everything together and turn those tiny wing nuts. Overall I am happy with the product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This item item is the best thing since sliced bread. I've bought 2. It's currently attached to my wives 2025 CRV and before that it was in her 2020 Civic. Mine is in my 2025 Wrangler and before that it was in my 2024 Civic. Depending on the car it can be a pain to install but definitely will attach to more vehicles then what it'll say/recommend. We both have Rove 4k dash cameras attached to this and with it hanging from the it's a set it and forget it. We never have to worry about the suction cup giving out in the heat/cold plus we don't have to constantly clean the windshield from suction cup marks. Comes with a ton of balls and adapters for fit a ton of different setups. And for how cheap it was I had to gamble and it paid off!

I received my package a few weeks ago and installed it the same day.. Pros: Easy to ready picture and simple instructions on use. Lots of parts to mix and change for mounting items.. Cons: instructions were in small or the smallest size know to man kind. I needed to use my glasses and a magnifying glass to read them.. With Soo many interchangable parts I was still unable to install my dash cam with out using the original mounting component. Over all the mounting kit was a solid built device. I had little to no mounting issues other then the small font size and having Soo many items to chose from... I still had to use the original mounting bracket to affix my dash came properly.. I would recommend this item to anyone needing to affix third cam in a more permission mounting fashion..

I have had my dash cam for a few years now and about this past year I have been having issues with the suction cup no longer holding. On hot days especially, but sometimes even normal days, the suction will fail and I will come back to my car to find that my cam has fallen and is somewhere on the floor. I got this mount to prevent that from happening anymore and it was a success! When I first got this the main part of it was almost all the way put together for me which was nice. All I really had to do was find the right connector for my camera. It came with so many and even the ones that looked like they would fit mine specifically, or did, there were a few of. There were a few that fit mine, however they were all kind of loose and I was afraid that they would allow my camera to slip off, so I was especially happy when I found an adapter that would work with the mount that my camera originally came one. All I had to do was unscrew mine and attach it to the bottom of the adapter and I was able to use my original mount on the new one! Putting the whole mount on my rearview mirror was kind of a hassle, so I ended up putting the longer screws on to make it easier to attach. Overall it was really easy and it solved my issue of the camera falling so I am so happy!

Works just as intended. Was a pain to get it installed on the mirror back that is more the fault of my behemoth of a mirror rather than the mount. No more getting back in the car after a hot day to find the suction cup failed and sent the dashcam plummeting right into my steering wheel and denting it. Doesn't adjust the best, tends to want to stay a certain way, but that may be just cause of the wires on my mirror not allowing me to secure it tightly. Is compatible with COOAU brand dashcams

I bought the SoeKoa rearview mirror dashcam mount because my experience with suction cup mounts hasn't been good. Suction cup mounts tend to lose their suction and usually at very inopportune times. It's especially annoying if the dashcam is relatively expensive because it can get damaged when the suction suddenly stops working. The mount comes with multiple different joints that are compatible with a wide variety of dashcams. I was fortunate enough that two of the joints actually fit with my VanTrue dashcam. If none of the joints fit your dashcam, just return the mount. The only issue I have with the mount has nothing to do with the brand. I'm sure it is the same for most rearview mirror mounts. It's pretty simple to install; you basically put it around the stem of your rearview mirror and use the screws to tighten it down. However, at least in my case, there is not a lot of room behind the mirror to work with. It took me a lot more time than I care to admit to get the mount fastened. Having said that, once fastened, the mount is exactly what I wanted. It is unobtrusive and the dash cam stays put. In my case, I don't have to remove the mount to detach the camera to view/upload video. Unless the mirror happens to fall, the mount is not going anywhere. If you can get past the potentially frustrating installation, the rearview mirror mount is definitely worth it. You won't be spending all that time re-suctioning your dashcam to the windshield. It may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, but it gets the job done.
