Kimura brand made in Taiwan. I like the SK-5 steel and the PTFE coating on the blades. The thumb operated latch works very well and is easy to release. Handles feel comfortable in the hand. The red coating on the handles is smooth to the point of slick. I think it would be better if it had some texture for better grip. Blades are sharp. Overall this tool is good quality and functions well. Durability should be good. Good value for the money.

Only used these shears a couple of times but it has worked great, no issues. I particularly like the auto lock release when the grips are squeezed. The blades seem sturdy and sharp. Time will tell how long they stay that way. Overall, the shears look like a well made, quality product.

Review is based on the first time using the clippers. Great safety switch that is very easy to lock and unlock. and the blades make a very nice, sharp cut. handle is nice and easy to hold and cut with. Now, for the long term test...I hope they hold up.

Suberb design and fabrication. Cuts cleanly, easily. Doesn't pinch your hands. Should last many years. Well worth their cost. You won't regret this purchase.

Very sharp, cuts clean. Appears to be well made at a significant lower price than well known competitors. Time will tell if it holds up.

They look pretty good. One complaint I am reading is that the safety lock pops open easily. I think this is by design, if you squeeze the closed shears, they are supposed to pop open, for easy one handed operation.The blades are (apparently) carbon steel, so they need to be cleaned after use, and oiled. Otherwise, not surprisingly they will rust. The design pattern is similar to the excellent, ergonomic Swiss Felcos. Came razor sharp.

These are really great pruning shears. The Japanese made cutters are really sharp and pruning g is almost effortless. I’ve gone through a lot of pruners in my life and these rate superior to all the other name brands.You won’t regret purchasing these pruners. If fact, I purchased two since my wife enjoys using these pruners as much as I do.
