It's a fresh twist on the game of Snap, and you'll have to think and act quickly if you want to win! As you switch and smash your way through the game you will test your reflexes and exercise your powers of observation, so stay alert! How To Play Avocado Smash Aim Of The Game The aim of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all your cards. Also keep an eye out for special action cards that switch up the rounds! Getting Started Shuffle the card deck and deal all the cards face down, giving an equal number of cards to each player. Take the top card from your pile and place it face up in the centre. The next player does the same and so on. If both cards have the same number of avocados on them it's a smash! All players must smash their hands down on the centre pile! The last player to react loses the round and collects all the centre cards. Fast And Furious There's a twist to the game! When you are placing your cards into the centre pile you must also count avocados aloud! So player one starts with "one avocado" The next players must follow in sequence irrelevant of the avocado number on the card! If a card matches the number said aloud it's a smash! As before all players must smash their hands down on the centre pile! Slowest smash takes the cards!

Over the years I dread to think what we’ve paid for fairly ‘steady’ games that have limited appeal across generations, so this was refreshing, its good for most ages (within reason). Only reason I gave a 4 ‘for travelling’ is that when we played it at the airport, we were a bit too loud really - as a family, things can get competitive. Well worth the tenner we paid.

**Q: Where are the instructions? None were included...**
A: The instructions should have been inside the “Avocado” shell.  It was my grandkids gift so I don’t have it to take a picture.  Maybe contact the manufacturer?  Basically everyone gets all the cards in the deck, so if 4 people are playing you may have 15 cards each.  You don’t look at them, you flip them on a pile one person at a time.  When you throw a card you begin counting 1-15.  You say “one avocado”, “two avocado”, etc.   If the card you throw corresponds with that number you slap your hand on the deck.  Last one to slap has to take all the cards in the pile.  There are “smashing avocado” cards and when that is flipped last one to smash the pile takes all the cards.   “Guacomole” card you DO NOT SMASH THE PILE  everyone yells “GUACOMOLE”.  Last person to yell takes the pile or if someone smashes they take the pile.  First one to get rid of cards wins.

**Q: Does this still come in the avocado plastic containter? i have seen it in a cardboard box. also, would it fit in a x-mas stocking?**
A: This does not come in a box. However, I do believe it would fit in a stocking.

I’m not one for writing reviews, but this game warrants one. This game really is good fun and one we return to as a family. An innovative twist on snap, with different levels of play for adults and children. Colourful textured cards with the hilarious "Smash" this game translates well across the generations. We've played the very basic version with a 3year old who laughed the whole time. Great storage, great for travelling, a must for family holidays. Find a corner in the car or your suitcase you will soon find this a family favourite.
