I have a few massagers and most are too heavy and cumbersome to use on my TMJ jaw aches and my neck. Some don't vibrate well enough or are too loud to get near my ear when using it on my jaw. This smaller size and weight is perfect. I can hold it in my hand and easily go all along the jawline and at the jaw joint and it does help and provides some relaxing relief. I had a foot muscle spasm and used this and it helped to dissipate the pain. I haven't had a need for the 10 modes, just the initial one works fine. My only problem is that keeping it by my living room chair would cause some pause when seen by others, lol. Still, this portable massage tool helps my muscles, so I'm glad I ordered this one b/c it works really well.
