Bright, Consistent Fog Lights That Just Work
I installed the BEAMTECH 9005 fog light bulbs on my vehicle a few weeks ago, and theyโve been impressive on every drive since. The 6500K white light hits that sweet spot between crisp daylight visibility and a clean, modern look that doesnโt feel harsh or washed out. Right away, I noticed how much clearer the road edges and lane markers looked in early morning fog and misty conditions โ exactly when you want fog lights to make a difference. One thing I really appreciate is the consistency of brightness across both bulbs. They feel evenly matched and donโt show one side brighter than the other, which can be distracting or feel unbalanced at night. The fanless design is another thoughtful touch โ with no spinning parts, thereโs a quieter, simpler setup, and less chance of mechanical failure over time. Installing them was straightforward and hassle-free. They fit securely into the 9005 socket with no modifications, and the wiring clicked right into place. I didnโt have to deal with adapters or weird connectors, which made the entire process stress-free. On the road, the output is strong without being blinding to oncoming drivers, which I think strikes a smart balance for fog light use. They donโt overwhelm like some overly bright lights do, but they significantly improve visibility in low-contrast conditions like drizzle, low cloud, or early dawn. Overall, these BEAMTECH bulbs feel like a solid, reliable upgrade over factory fog lights. Easy to install, consistent in performance, and effective when it matters most โ theyโve earned five stars in my book.

These things are BRIGHT. Donโt be like my friend who stared straight at them after telling me to turn them on, youโll see spots (according to him). Iโve been running these for I believe about 2 months in this vehicle. Iโve had them for 2 years in my car and theyโve ran great and still shine like brand new. They were pretty easy to install (if youโre not dumb like me ๐คฃ). Definitely worth the money you spend on them. I canโt say for sure about the life span, Iโll update if I ever hit it, and they run nice and quiet.

Super bright, no flashing or errors
Super bright, no flashing or errors, great beam pattern. However they do not align quite as perfectly as they should in the sockets.

Works in 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L as high beam bulb but reconsider for DRL use
I installed these 9005 bulbs into a 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L today as replacements for the stock halogen high beam/DRL bulbs. Honda makes it darn tough to change the high beam bulbs on this vehicle. It's nothing specific to these bulbs but rather the design of the vehicle. Give yourself 30 to 60 minutes and come with a flathead screwdriver. You'll need to remove the clips on the upper air intake so that it can be removed on the drivers side. On the passenger side you need to remove the clip keeping the coolant fill tube attached to the vehicle and you'll also need to pull up and out on the brake fluid reservoir to move it out of the way. Even with moving these items out of the way it is very tough to get your hands in and replace the high beam bulbs. Again, that has nothing to do with these bulbs in particular so I'm not docking off any stars. Now, if you have the same vehicle as I do then you'll likely get the "DRL" error message on the dash after installing these bulbs. In reading other reviews, and the manual, I expected this may happen. I have a message into BeamTech for help and am working on the assumption that they will send me an adapter cable to get rid of the message. I have not driven yet with these bulbs but they look bright and white in the driveway. I will update further if I have any additional feedback after driving and working with BeamTech to resolve the DRL issue. If I don't update then assume all is good. Update 3/7/20 These lights look great driving at night. Bright, clear, and good side coverage. Beamtech sent me the DRL decoder to clear up the DRL warning I had on my dash and it cleared the issue right up. Great purchase! Update 6/7/2020 Honda uses the high beam bulb for daytime running lights on this year and model. Though my DRL warning was cleared up by the decoder, the DRL uses this bulb at full brightness. After driving for a few months, I have become very self conscious with the bulbs as DRL. I was noticing that, even in the brightest of day, I could see my DRL lights reflecting off of highway and street signs. I can only assume that it was incredibly annoying for drivers in front of me. So, I decided to remove this bulb and stick with the halogen so it could use the reduced brightness for DRL. I kept the low beam as LED

Won't work on 2008 Lexus RX350, unless you get R1 decoder
I purchased these light bulbs for my mom's car which is a 2008 Lexus RX350 to replace the yellowish color the original DRL bulbs emit. According to the seller on Amazon's page the lights are PLUG N PLAY and with the CHIP conversion, so you are suppose to get the lights, remove the old ones, install the new ones, and be done, well, not that easy. Lexus and some other cars ONLY send 6v power to the DRL bulbs, so these LEDs WILL NOT WORK for your DRL (driving lights), but there is a solution to make them work. Now, when you use the DRL bulbs in conjunction with the high beams, then the DRL bulb will get 12v from the computer, so these LEDs will turn on and work, but you don't want high beams ON all the time so you can use the DRL bulbs also, so what's the solution? After many, many hours researching, and weeks installing other products like decoder boxes and 9005 wires with 50w6ohm resistors that did not work, I was about to give up and return the DRL bulbs to the seller, because the bulbs were NOT Plug N Play as specified on the page. Well, I found a website that sells a WORKING DECODER, and let me tell you, it is the ONLY one that worked. If you purchase these light bulbs and they DO NOT work when you are running DRL bulbs only, then you need a decoder from ijdmtoy. The one I needed based on the year/make/model was the R1 decoder. Depending on your vehicle, you might need R2, R3, R4, R7 or R8 decoder, once you access their site, you will find out which one you need under the compatibility button. I have knowledge when it comes to LED lights and voltage, but let me tell you, this one almost make me lose my hair, haha. I don't want other people to go through the same issue like it happened to me, cause it is very time consuming and frustrating, so I decided to write a review to help others. The light bulbs are BRIGHT running as DRL, and when you select high beams, they are extremely bright, so if the road is VERY dark, you'll see it without a problem. Remember, the lights might not be the issue, it could be your car and the voltage the computer sends to run the DRL bulbs. I forgot to mention, I did contact Beamtech numerous times to let them know the issue I was having with the lights not working in DRL mode, and their customer service is SUPERB. They do take their time to reply, and they do so quick, within a day. Because of their great customer service, I have decided to purchase the H11 light bulbs for my mom's car too. Thanks Beamtech

Great company!
When I first got these lights, I gave a 2 star- which I have now retracted and give them a 5 star. It was my lack of research at first. I was unaware that switching to LED required resistors. They were flickering on and off and it was incredibly dangerous because I live out in the middle of nowhere on a winding mountain road. So, I messaged the company and they IMMEDIATELY responded and sent free resistors to me. The resistors got there quickly. They were a wonderful company to work with and I highly recommend these lights. Theyโre easy to install, bright, fit like a glove and well worth the money.

Great quick light upgrade
I bought these bulbs to upgrade my original halogen H4โs to LED as the original ones were not bright enough for nighttime trail riding. Picture shows comparison of the halogen to the LED. The bulbs were a very tight to fit into the factory housing, appeared as if the plastic was molded slightly off which made things difficult. The light appears very bright and I will update as I start to drive with them. Fits 2013 skidoo XP.

Very Bright, easy to install.
I'll probably never have them on because they are so bright that I 'd probably blind someone. Very easy to install on my 93 Honda Accord, easier than the low beams that I installed as I had to move the battery out to install those. Beamtech is in the U.S. and the shipping came before the actual shipping date. Very easy to track the package and they arrived well boxed and no damage. Installation was great. Though after I had one working and I installed the other it didn't work for some reason. I switched the one that worked to the other and it came on fine. So I switched back and then it worked for some reason. Maybe just dust or I hadn't pushed it in all the way, I dunno. I would highly recommend these lights but the price point in Canadian $ was a bit more than the low beams. I'm looking forward to winter driving in the rural areas of where I live as these will give me way better vision and I'll feel much safer when I'm out driving on contry roads. Oh, and the bonus of these was the fact that the "peripheral" vision on the side of the roads is 100% better so I can see the edges of the road. I would HIGHLY recommend Beamtechs if you have concerns about safety for you and your family when driving out into the dark roads like the country. Caution though, you'll really blind someone with these so be aware of oncoming traffic and turn them off when you see a vehicle in the distance coming the other way.

Amazin bulbs great support
Package arrived quickly and I have easily installed 9005 bulb model on my 2012 Toyota Camry LE . At first installation light was flickering in DRL mode. I contacted Beamtech support by email from amazon and they sent me canbus driver modules. Once installed those adapters light stopped to flicker. FYI after you install canbus drivers and start the car the lights shining at full power. Wait a couple of minutes and they will dimm nicely. Overall great bulbs. Will by another pair for second car. Thank you beamtech!
