I bought this to replace my old Remington, because the Nimh battery was failing. The Braun is a much better made piece of kit. After one use it’s clear that it does the job well, on my short beard (trimmer currently set to 4mm). The one surprise is that it doesn’t come with a shorter trimming blade for detailing the edges of my beard, upper lip etc. There’s a so called “detail comb” that fits over the blade, but I can’t work out how to use it, or whether it could be used to form an edge. No problem though, because there is also a small mini-shaver head which, to my surprise, does that job just as well. So my advice is to make sure the model you buy includes the shaver head (eg the 5525.)

A newer, better version of one i had for a few years. Quick to charge and plenty styling tools. Used almost daily.

Seems good, only used once so far but the main reason for the review is - it won't charge through my shaver socket, everything else does but the pins on the plug seem smaller. Worked on my plug socket adapter though.

Ya tenía otra parecida de Braun, la usa un familiar y solo una vez semana para dejar una barba de días,pero tras mas de 3 años,empezó a tirar de la barba y no cortar,por eso he comprado esta que es algo mejor. Creo que tiene opción de que la garantía dure 5 años,pero no se como va. Barajé comprar solo un cabezal de repuesto y eran 17€, asi que opté por comprar mejor una nueva mejorada y con más autonomía. Ésta añade un pequeño accesorio de afeitadora,perfecto para perfilar el contorno,y el cabezal principal,junto a 2 peines guías y un perfilador que solo deja abierto el centro del cabezal. Lo mas importante es su rueda central que permite elegir los centímetros,aunque ésta baja hasta 0.5 y la mia anterior solo tenia 1 cm como mínimo. También añade una palanca para fijar la rueda central y que no se mueva. Aconsejo comprar un bote pequeño para añadir una gota de aceite tras acabar,en el cabezal y en los alambres interiores,y asi se conserva mucho mejor. Decir que el envase no es como en la foto,es color cartón sin mas,sin ninguna fotografía ni satinado. Sus cuchillas realizan un buen corte,rapido y preciso. Se nota potencia y buen afilado. Tiene 120 minutos de autonomía,que te permite mucho uso hasta tener que cargarla.

Toller Rasierer für den alltäglichen Gebrauch, ich kürze meine Barthaare alle 3-4 Tage und mit dem Gerät und den verschiedenen Längeneinstellungen eignet es sich super im Alltag und erspart einem den Schritt zum Barbier alle 3-4 Tage und deshalb ist es eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Der Akku hält auch echt lange da man dieses Gerät alle 3-4 Tage für jewils 10 min. benutzt deshalb TOP Preis/Leistungsverhältnis

​Il prodotto è arrivato integro e in perfette condizioni. A differenza delle immagini pubblicitarie, la confezione è molto minimalista: una semplice scatola di cartone senza grafiche. Come ormai accade spesso, è tutto Made in China, ma i componenti ci sono tutti e sembrano al tatto e a prima vista di qualità. Registrando il prodotto sul sito ufficiale Braun si ottiene un'estensione della garanzia da 2 a 5 anni. Il regolabarba è molto preciso (scatti da 0,5 mm) e ho trovato utilissimo il mini-rasoio a testina: permette di rifinire i bordi senza intaccare il resto della barba, poiché taglia solo i peli corti che entrano nella griglia, a differenza delle lamette manuali. Quindi se dovete disegnare per la prima volta il profilo della barba usate le lamette manuali poi per mantenerlo pulito quotidianamente usate il mini-rasoio a testina.
