OMG, This thing tastes like absolute heaven. I've never been a huge fan of chocolate but this thing has so much flavour and different tastes inside that it's genuinely the best chocolate bar I've ever tasted. I have had similarly prices luxury chocolate bars and quite frankly, this tastes much better than any of them. The quality of the chocolate & ingredients are amazing. I decided to pop it in the fridge overnight and when you do this, you end up with a thin crisp outer layer of chocolate and a softer mix of different ingredients inside. For instance, there's like a caramel type ingredient that isn't noticeable when you have it at room temperature but straight from the fridge, you can feel that its there. In terms of value for money, I think its great. Sure it's a higher price item but when you consider the size of the bar and how thick it is, it's effectively like ordering a really nice desert. One piece is satisfying so you don't need to eat the entire thing in one go. The wrapper could do with being a little bit fancier, it doesn't look anywhere near as fancy as the actual bar inside.

At £27.99 for a single bar of chocolate, I expected something truly luxurious in terms of packaging, presentation, and taste. Sadly, that was not the case. The packaging and presentation were no different from chocolates sold in shops at less than half the price, and when I opened it, I was even more disappointed to find that the chocolate had clearly melted and re-solidified, leaving it looking unappealing. For the price, I expected a premium experience, but this product fell far short.

It’s always a treat to get to review chocolate and other confectionery, particularly when it’s something you’ve never had before. This comes as a big chunky bar of ten squares, wrapped in a paper sleeve and foiled paper. Breaking off a square reveals the filling, covered in a fairly thin chocolate coating. I found that this benefited from being left in the fridge for a while, as it has been quite warm and the whole thing was fairly soft. I didn’t properly read the ingredients before trying the chocolate and tried to enjoy it without preconceptions. The texture is soft with crunchy bits throughout, it’s almost like there’s crushed halva and pieces of nut in there. I would say that it does taste very nice; I tried it with my girlfriend and we both really enjoyed it. It is very sweet, so only one or two squares is enough - perhaps something to share or enjoy over time with yourself. We both noticed a warm spice flavour, which we thought was like gingerbread, but turns out to be cinnamon, it is quite subtle though. Looking at the ingredients, I saw that the second listed is something called ‘kunafa’, I had to look this up and it’s a kind of traditional Arab desert made with spun pastry dough, layered with cheese and soaked in sugar syrup. Unfortunately the ingredient listing doesn’t comply with UK regulations as the individual ingredients of the kufaya do contain wheat and this isn’t mentioned at all, where they should be listed in bold text. Neither are the dairy or nut ingredients listed in bold. If you have any allergy to any of the notifiable ingredients, it’s going to very difficult to tell if you can eat this or not. What really surprised me was the price on the product page; this 230g bar has a price tag just shy of £28, which is a huge amount for a chocolate bar, no matter how much it is trending on social media. It’s nice, but not £2.80 a square nice! This strikes me as opportunism, trying to make a quick buck on a current trend for an alright but nothing special confectionery. Like most social media trends, there’s a lot of hype over not very much.

Firstly, this chocolate bar doesn't actually have any pistachio, I want to make that clear, this is pecan and kunafa. They are clearly trying to follow the hype of the Dubai chocolate craze (which in itself is silly since pistachio cream has been in chocolate before from Turkish chocolates etc). I think to be clear also... This isn't made in Dubai at all, it's actually made in Saudi Arabia and even has their seal on it. Which does make it authentic but the title of the product is thus quite misleading. The taste however, putting all of that aside, is amazing. The chocolate is deep and indulgent, the kunafa and slight cinnamon taste pairs so well and the salt really elevates it. You get the thick texture of chunky chocolate on top, but with a soft I diligent bottom and a salty slightly crispy filling. Honestly amazing. However the price is just ridiculous. And with the misleading title and advertising I can't really endorse this? If this was say around £10-£15 I would say it's pricey but might be worthit for special occasions like you would get a luxury big chocolate box. (This is a thicker candybar with 8 squares). However right now at around £28 it is far too much, and not good value. Despite the taste being awesome, it does taste essentially like baclava (but with chocolate) and you can get chocolate filled baclava for less. It's a shame because if this was marketed correctly, and the price was made accessible, this would be an easy recommendation, but can't recommend this at the moment unless money is no issue and you're not actually looking for Dubai pistachio chocolate.

This comes with a small gift bag, and seems at first glance to be extremely overpriced chocolate. I was surprised though at the quality of the product. It has excellent flavour and texture, a little sweeter than the usual pistachio version which is already becoming a little tired. Definitely needs to be kept in the fridge as it turns practically into a liquid over 20c. Not sure I would actually pay the asking price, but I certainly wouldn't turn it down if offered!

I got the Toasted Katafi, Pecan Cream & Tahini flavor, which doesnt have the green pistachio that the other "viral Dubai chocolate" has. So know that if you get the pecan and Katafi variety there is no pistachio paste. That said this is a very very rich and decadent and sweet tasting chocolate bar. Its huge and comes packaged well in its own cardboard box. The price is pretty outrageous but dont buy this for a snack or whatever its best as a gift for a special occasion for several people to enjoy at once. The chocolate was rich and the filling very creamy with the taste of toasted pecans.

Good chocolate bar but definitely was not worth the cost. The bar has a good texture and a nice crunchy center, the chocolate was creamy and sweet. At the price point, you can't really justify buying it, as it was just a very average chocolate bar that is the current fad.

This chocolate bar is so pricey, at $29.99 for just 8 oz. However, it's SO yummy! The chocolate is so smooth and melts nicely in the mouth. The filling has a pretty light crunch from the katafi. The pecan cream is smooth, and then the caramel? Ahh. It really reminds me of a coconut caramel cookie, texture wise. Everything melts away, leaving the caramel goodness last. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and while I do think it leans more premium, especially with the outside design, this would just be a rare, special treat for me.

This candy bar is one of the biggest I have ever seen. It's like a huge, thick brick of chocolate. The brand is Crush, perhaps because you could crush your enemies with it -- or maybe gain a crush when you give it to your friends. The next enemies-to-lovers trope? The quality of chocolate is delicious and rich. I ate one square and had to stop, so it's perfect for sharing or enjoying slowly over long periods of time. OR eat it in one sitting; you do you boo. It's over $20 right now, so it's an expensive snack. I have never had Dubai chocolate, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The internal structure is kind of honeycombed or layered so that it has a satisfying crunch to it. I got the pecan caramel variety, which is great, but it's not a traditional American-type candy at all. I like it!

So good! Very tasty but pricey. Each square is very rich and almost as filling as a regular candy bar. The texture of the center reminds me of a moist Ferrero Rocher candy. The outside is delicious milk chocolate. This flavor is pecan instead of the popular pistachios filling. The bar is larger and thicker than standard bars and comes wrapped in gold foil paper inside a retro designed box. That box came bubble wrapped in its own cardboard box. This would make a great gift! There is nothing cheap about this bar including the taste!
