Super Dark Coconut Ash and Banana, 3oz Bar

If you haven't tried Vosges yet, you may want to give it a miss because once I tried it I was spoiled for any other chocolate. Vosges is truly exceptional chocolate. I usually order straight from Vosges and this was the first time I've seen it at a store. Unfortunately, every bar in my order was cracked and a huge mess. I didn't really get to enjoy the caramel but the chocolate was still amazing. I hope Vosges will offer more of their chocolate selection in local stores like Whole Foods, but maintain the quality. Godiva's quality went down horribly once they started mass production. I would also love to see this caramel chocolate bar in smaller pieces, more like Dove caramel chocolate, because I think that would keep this from becoming the huge mess that it is when purchased in local stores.

The best chocolate on the market. Dark chocolate, slightly bitter, caramel center! Expensive so I can't buy too much at once! So it's perfect. Just for special occasions. Highlights my snobbiness for chocolate.

As a child I hated dark chocolate. As I got older I knew it was better for me so I tolerated it. But then I found (thanks Jenn) this dark chocolate yummyness from Vosges and I am hooked! The dark chocolate is not bitter and the combinations that they have are amazing! The price is higher then store bought chocolate but it’s really superior and typical for high quality chocolate. I have tried lots of brands and this is the best!

Very good but too expensive. Also, Vosges must not consume their own product in that these bars do NOT break along the square lines due to the caramel interior very much weakening the squares; i.e., the bars are VERY messy to eat . So if Vosges doesn't eat their own chocolate, and it's expensive, I submit that the company will go downhill which might be a countervailing reason to stock up -- if the bars will last in storage.

Came fresh and quickly, love this chocolate’s Banana Caramel notes. Has a nice texture contrast, smooth chocolate with crunchy bits.

While the quality is nice, the way in which it is packaged provides no protection from breaking and leaking caramel everywhere. It was a mess but I don't fault the producers on this. The taste was good, albeit messy and not entirely edible from the shipment.

I am a dark chocolate fan, and this is definitely one of my top 5 ever. It has just the right consistency for the perfect snap and melt in the mouth texture and just the right balance of bold kakao darkness and subtle flavors to make it exotic but rich and comforting. It's also vegan which is a plus, and I made the mistake of sharing that knowledge along with a piece to a vegan co-worker, so now I have to hide my stash as she's as addicted as I am, but not quite as eager to spend $8 per bar.

I became a fan of Vosges when I received a free Black Salt Caramel Bar in my Home Chef order. This past Christmas I gave a bar of this chocolate to each of my seven co-workers. Every one of them remarked about its exceptional quality and how much they enjoyed it. I think that's pretty impressive given how much candies and sweets tend to get passed around during the holidays. If you are a chocolate connoisseur I think you will not be disappointed.
