Super Impressed
This is a beautiful appliance! They really took their time thinking through the design, even the packaging, to create a quality experience from the moment of unpacking to the end of every use. This is food prep at its finest! But first, the practical highlights: 1. It's crazy easy to use! Just add the ingredients, push a button, and 2 minutes later you have fresh, creamy, plant-based milk. Boom. 2. They've also made it as easy as possible to clean: The filter has a built-in device that scrapes off the leftover solids for a quick, mess-free removal. It even comes with a container to store these solids for use in other recipes (I make nut cheese with mine). And it has its own little scrub brush to keep your filter fresh & functional. 3. The finished "milk" product is as thick and creamy as you want it to be; you control the ingredients and the amount of water, and the included recipe book offers tips for making thicker or more foamy milks, standalone drinks, and creamers. Important note: There is still a decent amount of very fine sediment in the final product that you don't get in commercial brands. It's the equivalent to the kind of residue you see in coffee brewed from extra fine-ground beans. This is a trade off we were happy to make to lose the additives and seed oils in even the best store brands. Additional note: They recommend drinking your milk within about 3 days or so. The included pitcher has a lid that's air tight for storage. That said, this is just a pleasure to use. The look and use is clean, with an excellent display and a luxurious feel. I especially appreciate the simple yet informative recipe book: There's a number of flavored milk recipes (so far I've often doubled the extra ingredients in the ones I've tried to get the flavor profile I'm looking for) but even better is the detailed info on various ingredients and their flavors/benefits for making your own recipes. Fantastic! We've adapted the Chai Oatmilk to make a flavorful cashew protein shake. And I've discovered that a tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder adds a surprising amount of creamy flavor without making it chocolate milk. Who knew? If you're committed to cutting out ultra processed ingredients, want delicious, customizable plant-based milk, and/or just delight in making yummy drinks (and plant based cheese!) I definitely recommend!

This Machine Removed the One Step That Kept Me From Making Nut Milk And That Changed Everything
I first experienced the Nama M1 Nut Milk Maker while visiting a friend, and within minutes I knew this wasn’t just another kitchen gadget; it was a problem-solver. I already own a commercial Vitamix and absolutely love it, but if I’m being honest, the extra step of straining nut milk was the reason I didn’t make it as often as I wanted to. That one step was just enough friction to make me reach for store-bought instead. The Nama M1 removed that barrier completely and that’s what makes it so powerful. This machine truly does it all. You add your ingredients, press a button, and in minutes you have fresh, smooth, creamy plant-based milk; no blending, no straining bags, no mess, no excuses. For someone like me who values quality but also appreciates convenience (and yes, sometimes embraces my “lazy efficiency”), this was a game-changer. The taste and texture are excellent. The milk comes out rich and satisfying, with a natural creaminess that honestly surprised me. You still have full control over thickness and flavor, but without the labor. It feels like professional results with minimal effort. I also really appreciate the size and footprint of the machine. It’s substantial enough to feel premium and well-built, yet compact enough to live comfortably on the counter without taking over the kitchen. The design is clean, modern, and thoughtfully executed, as this is an appliance you don’t feel the need to hide. Ease of use is outstanding. The controls are intuitive, the process is streamlined, and cleanup is refreshingly simple compared to traditional methods. Everything about the Nama M1 feels intentional—designed for real people who want to eat well without turning every task into a project. For me, this machine didn’t just make nut milk, it made consistency possible. I now make my own milk far more often because the process is no longer a hurdle. That alone justifies the investment. If you already care about quality ingredients but want to remove unnecessary steps… if you love homemade foods but don’t want extra cleanup… or if you’ve ever thought, “I’d do this more often if it were easier” as this machine is worth it. The Nama M1 didn’t replace my Vitamix; it complemented it perfectly. And it earned its place in my kitchen fast.

Worth the money even though my wallet hates me now!
I switched to plant based milk years ago and got in the habit of just buying it. However that was getting expensive and I wasn't loving all the stuff added in so I decided to try my had and making it. At first it was via nut bag which doesn't work for me (admittedly I'm lazy), so I got a Nutr Ultra. Bad bad bad decision. The brand new item came used and missing parts, and customer service couldn't be reached. Needless to say I was so hesitant to get this because it is expensive and I didn't want to waste more money. Honestly, I probably went overboard on reading and watching reviews on this machine before purchasing it! And Amazon has a much better return policy so it was worth the risk. I've only used it a couple times so far but that's enough to know this is far and away a better product. Holy cow is this easy to use and the recipe book is great. It takes about 2 minutes to make 3-4 cups of milk and like 3 ingredients. Clean up is so easy, the pulp comes out dry and they give you a cool little silicone pouch to store it in. Between prep, making it, and clean up the process takes a grand total of 5 minutes. I've done almond and coconut milks so far and literally just tossed them into the machine with no prep / soaking. Machine ground everything up so fine and got more milk out of the ingredients than I ever did squeezing and straining! Best part though is how smooth the milk is. Even double filtering milk before I could never get it this smooth. There's no grittiness and it tastes better than store bought. All to say that yes, it is expensive, but if you use nut / oat milks regularly it's a very good investment IMO.
