We put it on the table at 1:30 pm and at 5:30 it was still frozen! No condensation which was a surprise. We put each sheet onto a thin cloth and covered the ice packs with the tablecloth. They were perfectly flat and smooth and everything fit nicely. We showed to a few guests and i think each of them will make purchases. We have been entertaining in our home for 50 years and i wish i had discovered this years ago as we do many buffets. While it may defrost a little faster if used outside in our Florida heat, it would still be cold enough for food safety for the duration of an event. I may purchase more as there are various sizes available!! fit well and easily in freezer and i will store on a shelf until i need to use again.
