The wires was way too short to hook up to anything. I will need to figure out how to use them

I got two sets of the AOSHIKE 5V 30mA solar panels 53mmx30mm (10 pieces) for a elementary school classroom STEM project. All 20 of the panels I received were functional, and without unbroken solder connections at the leads. As is common for solar panels, the voltage is dependent on light intensity. You can use these in series, or in parallel, but it would be a good idea to put a diode in, to restrict backflow. A maximum of 30mA isn't a lot, so be reasonable in your expectations for this. The STEM project was basically to have the solar panel drive a single T-case LED (which it can do)... beyond that, you will need to use more than one panel.

Excellent panels that work in both room light and amazing in sun light. I used these for my Kindergarten science lesson on photosynthesis. With a bit of Styrofoam shaped into a leaf, and a low voltage LED, I had a perfect lesson prop. And yes, they do produce 5v.

If I could give this item no stars, I would. Several of the panels were already non-functional due to broken wires in the box and the rest broke as soon as they were used for a few seconds. No durability at all! DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!

These are small, general purpose, solar cells with leads. Good for teaching kids about solar energy and series or parallel wiring for more voltage or current.

Zero quality control. Will have to resolder some of these already disconnected wires. Not sure about the quality of the solar power generation either.

I initially made a review, and I was being critical. Afterwards I deleted my review as I felt it was not fair. I guess I should have edited my review before posting. I received a small refund, which I accept as good faith. And I wanted to show my gratitude. With a fair amd transparent review that is sincere. These little solar Modules are priced very well, and for anyone on a budget who is interested in learned about electronics, and the solar power side of things, you cannot go wrong with these. I would highly recommend them. While the sheer volume of competing options on amazon, all vying for a place to supply consumer demands, its easily overwhelming to make a confident choice. I have found a confident choice in these Solar Modules from AOSHIKE TECH. They will serve well to help me to design a large scale project, as I seek to multiply both Curent amd Voltage and establish a miniature solar array as a prototype from which I can then build my own control assets. These small solar panels are an excellent product to teach young students the essential fundamentals that leads to interest in the direction of electronics. Whether as a hobby or a life-ling career. The price is more than excellent, and the quality is better than the majority of the same size and output of the many dozens of others. I will be ourchasing more of these in the very near future.
