The best bag for long term international travel
Far and away the best luggage for long term international travel. In the 8 months I have owned mine, it has flown a little over 29,000mi. Look at those huge wheels. You won't fully appreciate them until the first time you need to pull your luggage down crumbling cobblestone streets. That kind of rough surface will quickly destroy little spinner wheels. But the big osprey wheels handle it without a problem. Spinner wheels are great for your carry-on, that you'll pull by your side for miles thru the airport; but you really don't want fragile spinner wheels on your big luggage Aesthetically, the current model is prettier than previous models. The osprey logo is smaller and more subtle. I wasn't sure about the blue color when I ordered it. Now I love the color - so easy to locate on the airport luggage carousel. Size is great. It's technically like an inch oversized - but I have not yet had any airline give me hassle over it. It's spacious enough to live out of full time. Simple design, one big compartment and one small quick access compartment. No needless wasteful dividers. If you're a serious traveler you're going to use packing cubes - built-in luggage dividers just get in the way. Weight is quite reasonable, even low, for the size. You only get 23kg checked baggage on most flights - don't want to waste too much of that allowance on the empty bag itself. There are handles on all sides, for easy manipulation. I've never understood why so many suitcases have a handle on only one side. The handles are attached to strong points - a kind of obvious design, that nevertheless many other pieces of luggage fail at. Internal straps are likewise strong. No particular pressure/strain is put on the main zipper when properly packed. A feature I have grown to really love is the built in piggy back strap. My little carry-on bag, with its fragile but airport friendly spinner wheels, rides piggy back whenever we need to traverse rough streets. Haven't yet had any occasion to use the warranty. Previously I had a smaller, less pretty osprey bag for years, and also never needed the warranty. Build quality seems quite good. In summary, I am very happy with this bag. It's a bit expensive - but worth every penny.

Lightweight, sturdy, capacious
Lightweight, sturdy, capacious -- excellent for anyone dealing with bush aircraft luggage limitations on safari. Solid back and base provides an area that has some protection for toiletries, while remainder can be filled with clothing.

Weight and durability cannot be matched.
Terrific bag and close enough to airline max size to go under the wire. Extremely durable material, yet amazingly light weight.handles are well made and it stands on its own, unlike many rolling duffle bags. Great Zippers. Thee Internal compression straps and a small separate compartment at the top for wet items like booties or swimsuits. Worth every penny. Excellent extending handle and mechanism. Good wheels, too.

Favorite frequent business travel bag
Fantastic travel bag. I often travel on short trips for work and this bag has become my go to. It fits perfectly in carry on requirements and I have no issues getting a weeks work of clothes between this and my backpack. The color is great and the material has stood up well so far. Only complaints is I wish the collapsible handle was a little more sturdy and metal instead of plastic but is holding up great and I wish the wheels were on a swivel but I knew that last part going in. Not worth deducting a star for those issues would recommend this to anyone.

Really nice bag that is "in between" sizes
Needed something like this for an extended trip. My carry-on was too small but I didn't want to get a huge rolling checked suitcase. This fit the bill perfectly for my needs. Typical Osprey quality and showed no signs of wear after multiple flights checking the bag. Easy to roll and seems like it will last for years. The only thing to note, it's really one big open bag. If you're looking for a lot of pockets or organization, there might be better options for you. I tend to organize using packing cubes and pouches, so it's a modular system, so a big open duffel works great for my needs.

Well made light travel duffel
This was a pricey purchase for me but I needed a wheeled duffel one could live out of for about two weeks for a pre-teen’s summer camp stay. This duffel styling worked great for that purpose. We were able to fit about one and a half week’s worth of camp clothes, a sleeping bag, and all other items on the camper’s packing list without hitting the 50 pound mark. The pre-teen was able to manouver this through the airport parking lot and bag check with minimal help thanks to the very versatile wheels, multiple handles and relatively light weight. I expected the bag to return a scratched up mess after three flights but it looks just fine with minor scatches to the plastic frame. This bag handled travel so well I’m considering getting the larger bag for longer trips. That said, the fabric/ frame is quite thin so I would be cautious about using this bag with breakables. This is designed for maximum lightness and manouverability and it works so extremely well for that purpose.

Did’t last 2 weeks / 2 flights . Frame completely bent . We also have the previous version that is still in a very good shape. I dont know what kind of cost cutting they have done . But stay away !! 400 dollars dow the trash :((

Great lightweight and durable bag
Love this bag. Light weight and easy to roll. Just used it for a 2 week trip to Peru. Held more than I needed and held up perfectly. My friend is a convert and said she was going to buy one as soon as she got back from our trip.
