ESV Large Print Personal Size Bible (TruTone, Mahogany)

I have a lot of Bibles as I like to read different versions and also different study Bibles. I switched to the large print Bibles once I began to strain to read the most common font size. I have found the font size of this Bible to be quite large enough (listed as 12-point size... it is just under 1/8" high). I also prefer Bibles with red text when they are Jesus' words... and a leather or faux leather cover. This Bible checks all those boxes. The gold edge is nice, though not necessary for me; the corners stick the pages together a bit from the gold, but easy to separate and only needs to be done once. (I have found this in every Bible I own that has the gold edging.) This Bible feels good in the hands and is also a nice size. I would definitely recommend this Bible! Perfect size Bible if you want large print and a bottle with weight to it for the price I don't think it can get any better maybe the pages could be a little thicker but other than that it's worth every penny stay blessed

This ESV Large Print Bible is very good. The print is readable even for a 77 year-old! I tried a Super Giant Print but it was just too heavy so I returned it. The ESV is an excellent translation of the Scripture. I love it more each day and read it all the time. GRADE: AAA+

I never write reviews but I had to for this. I recently got my first bible, and have enjoyed it so much, I made it a goal to read every version. (It doesn’t help that there are so many beautiful ones to choose from.) This is the ESV version I picked, and I think it’s my favorite of my 5 so far, appearance wise. It’s heavy, and thick, the pages have gold edges, the font size, ugh my eyes thank me so much 😂 even the sound the pages make when flipping through them, I’m obsessed with. It’s so beautiful. Grateful to God for the privilege to find his word in such a beautiful display. 🙏🏼

I love the ESV bible, however, each one I own does not have the words of Christ in Red. When I came across this one, I immediately ordered it. This beautiful bible has a font size of 12 which makes it easier to read and Words of Christ in Red. I think the only issue I have with it is that it only lays flat when you open it. However, once I break it in, it won't be a problem. Well worth the purchased.

I wanted a new a Bible to start the year and was recommended the ESV. This was the perfect size and the large print makes it so easy to read. The pages aren’t as thick as I prefer, but are not sheer. Great value and would recommend.

Likes: The faux leather cover is very nice, it has more of a red color to it than I was expecting but I really like how it looks. The font is more of a giant size, much larger than I thought it would be but it is easy to read. It is a well-built bible with a synthetic leather paste down liner, gold gilding on the pages, smythe sewn binding. It should last for many years. The red letter is dark, almost a dark brown. In low light you might not even notice it’s a different color, but that could be good if you have a hard time reading bright red font. Dislikes: The printing is not consistent. on some pages the ink looks dark gray instead of black. The paper is incredibly thin and feels like it could tear easily. I have tried several crossway bibles and their paper always feels more like tissue paper to me when compared with holman, zondervan, or Thomas Nelson. The gilding on the page edges caused the pages to be stuck together, so I took the time to flip every page to break it up. The pages are a bit wavy in the gutter and at the edges. It comes with a ribbon, but it’s pretty tiny and not double-sided (I ended up just taking the ribbon out). For the price, none of these dislikes are a big deal, but thought I should share. The paper quality is my biggest gripe, but once again I knew what I was going to get from crossway. If the paper were just a bit more opaque or thicker, then it would be a 5-Star rating from me. You do get what you pay for, I knew this wasn’t going to be high quality but it is still very good overall and should hold up well for many years.

Very good for the price. The Imitation Leather is one of the best I've come across. This isn't a reference version though, unlike my "equivalent" NKJV and NIV, Large Print, Personal Size Bibles, The paper is very white (whiter than my equivalent, NKJV ), but the typface used in this ESV is a little too "thin/fine" for my taste, I prefer the slightly bolder one used by the NKJV, as it is more comfortable to the eyes. Bleed through is certainly noticeable but about average. I've added some photos to show typeface and bleed-through.

Quisiera decir que estoy muy contento con esta Biblia. La recibí muy pronto. Lo que más me gusta es que la letra sí es de 12 puntos y para mi es de fácil lectura en ese número de letra. Honestamente pensé que quizá hiba a llegar con la letra más chica o que la descripción no sería la correcta ya que el precio es muy económico; Sin embago, me gustaría decir que he visto muchas Biblias y esta Biblia valdría mucho más. El tamaño es perfecto. Recomendable 100%
