Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers, 9 oz

Love these wafers but they arrived crushed. I want to make a whipped cream cake but the are crumbs. I have not bothered to open the package. They are broken because of the way AMAZON put them in a bigger box with a dog bone and no packing.

Every cookie was broken and unusable.

The Good news: these taste like thin versions of Oreos without the filling-just what I wanted and arrived within reasonable time. Bad news: very pricey and most were broken into small pieces. Would not buy from this seller again.

These offer nostalgic. They still taste the same after so many years. I got them to make a refrigerator cake. Super easy to layer them with whipped cream to make a cake. Leave it in the fridge at least a few hours before you are going to serve it. The cake only gets better the longer it sits. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to make an easy and tasty dessert.

It's long time since I'd had these and they were not as sweet or thick as I remembered. I made and enjoyed a whipped cream refrigerator cake. If I hadn't had a wish to experience an old favorite, I never would have paid the price for a box of cookies I used to buy at the A & P (all year as I recall). All that being said, it would have been a lot more worthwhile if they had been properly packed. They came packed in with an Amazon order that was a heavier item. Instead of putting some fine bubble wrap around the delicate cookies and then putting them in with the heavy item, they just put the box of cookies in and some of the big plastic pillow-type bubbles. Half the chocolate wafers were broken. I was disappointed, but my 'craving' for a refrigerator cake was satisfied.

Love these but a disgrace that they would charge for a box of cookies $15 in the supermarket they’re much cheaper in any Next time I will get them their they should be ashamed of themselves, charging the consumer that much money especially in hard times now

These are in the top five of commercially produced cookies and have been for years. But they are very thin and fragile and breakage in shipment is always a worry. The shipment of two boxes had broken cookies in each box. Perhaps this item is best purchased in a home town grocery store because of that. We ordered two boxes and I realize that it is ridiculous to expect the vendor to pack these cookies like they were rare crystal, but I did and I was wrong. There is not enough profit in this sale to expect that from the vendor. Perhaps if I had ordered a case, they would be prepared with that kind of shipping. But for two boxes? I was wrong to expect that. I ate the cookies anyway and would certainly use this vendor for other items. Thanks!

I needed these for some Christmas cookies I was making and could not find them anywhere. So I did what I always do, I turned to Amazon. I found them but I thought they were a bit pricey. If I made the cookies once a week, I would never have bought them. Once a year, I can splurge. Since I turned them into crumbs for what I was making and I didn't use all the crumbs, I froze the leftover crumbs to use for this Christmas. Doing that, they aren't as pricey.
