Broken out of the box
The unit will not charge at all right out of the box. Also once powered up while on the usb charger the enter button constantly goes on and off without touching any buttons on the unit. Could not even get to a menu due to this defect. Also they are making me pay to return the unit. I contacted the maker of the unit and they referred me to a contact here in the US and that contact referred me back to the maker. Very displeased with the unit and the customer service.

Excellent - Works perfectly
Well built, easy to use and good size display for easy use. I could see the thumbwheel having issues if not used carefully; It's a bit flimsy, but I have not personally had any issues at all. The carrying case and microphone protective storage are well thought-out.

Bad Product and Bad Seller . .
Not happy at all . . 3rd time using and the unit failed. The USB port charger broke when trying to plug in the USB plug. On top of that seller wants me to pay for shipping for a unit that is less than 30 day old? I understand if I made mistake and broke or if I ordered wrong, but the unit failed inside of 30 days.

Excellent sound analysis tool
I own this unit and it's fantastic. It has great features, more than the PAA3, and is nice to have. The cool bonus is the detachable microphone, that can extend out to give you a measurement somewhere else in the room.

Boot fail
Wouldn’t boot up. Kept getting boot failed error.

I bought this product and have taken care of it with my life, because it's very valuable. I had issues with it turning on and off repeatedly. I reached out to phonic and only got a response a month later. After responding back, they did not get back to me. I would like my tool warrantied as we use it often.
