What wood are the legs?

I don’t know the exact wood but they are light oak in colour

As others said, legs quickly loosened. Has anyone got a fix for this? Someone mentioned applying glue to the screw thread - any type of glue? Thanks

Been using these chairs daily for the last 6 months or so. Not had a problem with the screws at all. They went in easy enough and none have come loose on any if the four chairs!!!!
