Japanese Rice Cake Mochi Daifuku (Peanut), 7.4 oz

Bought this for my wife who requested it. The product arrived fresh, in a sturdy enough box. The contents themselves were delicious, with the right amount of accompanying crunch, a pleasant smell, and just the right size for a serving with coffee. Will probably buy again!

Excellent, wish it came in a bigger quantity

These are good! However, be warned that the peanut butter has a unique taste. The taste is a cross between natural stir peanut butter and reese's spreadable peanut butter. The small peanut pieces that coat the outside of the mochi are also pleasant. Would I buy this again? Probably not. They aren't fantastic for me and the cost is too high for a casual dessert. Was it worth trying? Absolutely. If you like Japanese treats and mochi, this is at least worth a try! Also, the image on the box looks better than the actual treat. It's not a huge deal, but I would have appreciated more honesty.

I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this item. I studied and read the description over and over. They seemed like a great choice for a different kind of snack. The peanut butter ones are my favorite. It's soft, chewy, and loaded with flavor. I shared the other flavors with friends, but I kept the peanut butter all to myself.

These are one of my all-yime favorite snacks and I can't wait until I recieve the next order. If the price were a bit more affordable I would keep them in stock constantly. Very delicious!!

It taste okay. Not that fresh since it is Kinda hard not as chewy as i wanted it to be. The flavor is just as right, not too sweet and peanuty which what i like. A bit pricey.

I grew up with traditional daifuku and Anko and Shiroan mochi, but in the spring and fall, we had different types of wagashi, manju, and the "novelty" treats.y favorite were the fruit flavored mochi and peanut butter daifuku. Rather than the rice or matcha powder, this has a peanut based coating, which is a little more course in texture but pleasant and in my opinion more flavorful than the traditional coating some daifuku is coated in. Shiroan is my all-time favorite, but it's only really good fresh. I'd given up finding commercial daifuku until I found these. They make me think of going to the confectioners with my grandma after Obon festival or going with my dad to get a box for my grandma on the way to visit. Now that the nearest confectionery is almost 800 miles away, these are a welcome gift to myself when I'm feeling nostalgic.

Super Lecker und für den Preis echt in Ordnung. Klar sind sie nicht so wie die richtigen Mochis aber für zwischen durch echt super. Außerdem sind sie etwas fester als ihre Originalen Brüder. Der Versand ist hier auch sehr schnell und alles war gut verpackt. Danke

Expectations are pretty low with mochi by mail but this was super soft and delicious. Tasted really fresh which was more than I expected. Wish there were more flavours I could find by this brand but a good choice!

Peanutty sticky mochi goodness. If you’ve not tried mochi you’ve really missed out. It comes in many guises and all are worth a try but these ones are extra special.
