These bracelets are a cute way to keep in touch with someone you love isn't nearby. What about texting and calls, etc., that most everybody has instant access to you, you ask...I was thinking the same thing. I had the 17 year old son set the bracelets up for him and his girlfriend and it turns out, they really like the chance to send a blink or a buzz to each other to let them know they're being thought of. It's been so sweet to see them enjoy a simple interaction that doesn't involve their phone. Though you can send communications from the app, you can also just tap the bracelet twice and it will send a buzz. There are only a few options of "message" to send from the app, and they come through as different colors. This functionality seems less useful as it's easier to understand an actual text message if you're going to go through that much effort to send anything off. The bracelet itself is made of silicone and the device itself is cute. The box includes charging cords and even a bag for gift giving. These bracelets do require the app on each wearer's phone to function.

I bought these for my daughter and her boyfriend, and surprised her. They do more things than they even advertise. She’s very happy with them and she is 17 and her boyfriend is 19 and they really love them. When their phone goes dead, anything they can still communicate

We wanted to give this to our little girl for when she's in school. We wanted to remind her that she's loved and we're thinking of her. However, it turns out the bracelets are of no use unless you have a cellphone at hand. She doesn't have one, she's eight. So, it seems redundant and pointless to use the bracelets between us when we could just use our phones and send an "I love you" text message with emoticons and even gifs included, maybe even a personal picture. My little girl used the plastic bracelets just for fun. The bracelets are not that big of a quality, it's okay for younger kids I guess, but if you're trying to make someone feel especial, they seem more cheap than exciting or elegant.

I bought these braclets for my daughter and myself, its a really neat concept but I'm disappointed because my bracelet doesn't work properly. I cannot send a signal from my bracelet, the signal only sends and lights up her bracelet if I send it from the app. The charm isn't strongly secured into the bracelet. Mine has almost fallen out of the band multiple times and sadly my daughters charm did fall out of her bracelet without her noticing within the first couple of weeks of receiving the bracelet for her birthday. Im disappointed, you would think the charm would be more secure with how much money was spent on these bracelets. :(
