This was purchased for a Halloween costume. They are comfortable, easy to put on and look just like an actual hospital gown. Great value for the cost. I would definitely recommend. The size was right and color was just as described.

There are so many different hospital gowns to choose from on Amazon, but I ended up choosing this one just because it seemed to have some of the better reviews and rating. I've had multiple melanomas and get checked every 3 months. At one of dermatologists I see they only offer paper coverings so I wanted to get my own patient gown. I used it this week, and was pleased with how it worked for me. The fabric is good quality and while it's large (if it wasn't one size fits all then I'd pick a medium), it is fine. It's just how they fit. The pattern is okay. It's not like you're trying to make a fashion statement when you're wearing it. ;) They do have those maternity women hospital gowns for those who want that look. Haha!

Good quality--fabric is soft and the weight feels identical to the gown my husband wore in the hospital. I bought another style a month earlier and they were scratchy and felt cheap. I researched more carefully the second time and these were a little more expensive but you get what you pay for. My husband is virtually bedridden with advanced Parkinson's and a recent hip fracture. Switching from t-shirts and jogging pants to gowns has made his care SO much easier, and he has not minded. After using this brand I really don't even want the other gowns on him. In fact, I'm writing this review after ordering two more of these. As to details, the gown is as described, substantial fabric, ties in back. My hired caregivers tie the ties but I never bother. They launder very well and hold up. I think you will be pleased with the quality.

The majority of the people ordering this should be fine with this gown but if you are a smaller man or woman you may want to try a youth size or petite size for a more fitted look. Too big for my brother who is 5'2 and 125 lbs but he's on the small side.

I bought this to use as a painting smock so I didn’t care what the drawbacks were. I would not use it as a hospital gown.

Purchased knowing my husband was having abdominal surgery, so glad I did! The gown can be worn open in the back or in the front, and offers numerous ties to ensure fit and comfort. This fits my petite frame and my 2XL husband easily. He chose to wear the opening in the front. This allowed him full access to his incision sites and catheter. This also allowed him to put the gown on and off by himself. The gowns are thin but not see-thru, and provide complete privacy (when tied obviously, lol). I purchased two, but wish I had gotten more as I constantly had one in the laundry. I didn't realize that he would require at least two clean gowns a day. I consider these gowns an investment. And if we never have to use them again, we'll have them around for a quick Halloween costume.

Bought for a male who had back surgery to recuperate at home. We could not find short ones so we easily cut them off right below the lowest tie(s). They have been so easy to put on front or back. Washed and dried before using and they are now soft. Absolutely perfect!
