First experience with Tallow cream, after using this specific product, it is now an essential for my facial skin care. It was a nice smooth texture, buttery almost, and it hydrated my skin quickly and longer than other moisturizers. It didn’t feel heavy although it feels fully coated on your skin, your skin can still breathe. The scent is barely noticeable in the jar/ organic smelling if anything but clean and neutral- once it is applied, there is hardly a scent at all. This little jar lasted me MUCH longer than I anticipated! Great value for the amount needed, start with a lot less than you think!!

Pros -I love the texture and effect of this cream. A little goes a long way, it is thin and feels like magic for the skin, like all good tallow. Not my favourite cream in the world, but it is nice. -"Grass-fed grass-finished" as they label this product means cows that were raised on forage for their ENTIRE life, which is obviously a huge plus if true here, as some companies will try to claim grass-fed as if it is humane when there was just a portion of the cow's life where they were grass-fed. The grass-finished cows do not generally require antibiotics, whereas grass-fed cows typically always do, and they feed on grain in feed-lots a lot of the time. Cons -It is actually in a plastic jar. Somehow I assumed it would come in glass like other quality creams. -The addition of honey to tallow cream makes it thinner than those without.. I get the sense that this honey is not the best quality. The floral scents wafting from it also seem to irritate my hypoallergenic senses, and I can therefore not apply it that close to where I am breathing. Is this scent from the honey? I have my doubts -- I wonder if it could be perfume, which is not listed in the ingredients. I may still use it on my lower body as tolerated, but also there the smell is irritating to me, like my throat is closing a bit, and it's a little bit nauseating. And I am not allergic to normal good honey. My opinion, this is not very high quality comparatively to other grass-finished tallow creams, but maintains some great qualities.

I ordered this Gorgeurora Beef Tallow for Skin, Beef Tallow and Honey Balm 4.2oz, Tallow Face Moisturizer to hydrate skin during the winter months. I remember a friend who lived on a farm recommending beef tallow products for their moisturizing benefits some year back, but I only got around to trying it recently. My skin gets very dry in winter, especially my hands and feet. This beef tallow and honey balm spread is easy to apply, and it made a huge difference; after one application, my hands and feet were smoother and softer. I could almost feel my skin drinking up the hydration; I’ve been using this daily, and my hands, feet, elbows, and other “problems” areas look so much better, with no more flaky dry bits. This moisturizer comes in a small jar that holds about 4.2 ounces of product. It goes on easily and spreads well, a small amount covers a lot of area. It doesn’t smell like tallow or like honey; there’s a light scent that is slightly waxy and a bit fresh. I can’t put a name to that fresh scent, but it is pleasant and not overwhelming. This also works well as a lip balm; I apply it before bedtime. When I wake up, my dry lips are well hydrated. My family also used this when we all had red noses while battling Flu B; after blowing our noses for days, they were red and rough to the touch. We put the tallow and honey moisturizer on the outside of our noses, it felt soothing and restored moisture to dry facial skin that had been scratched up from constant application of Kleenex. I like the natural ingredients in this product; it reminds me in a fanciful way of a potion from a wise woman. Honey has been used for healing in many ways over centuries. The grass fed tallow is super hydrating, it’s not ideal for oily skin, but can be excellent for dry skin like mine.

This whipped tallow cream is wonderful for my dry hands and feet, it's a reasonably thick cream but quickly absorbs into drier skin. I find it noticeably leaves a barrier on my hands, which in turn protects my skin when I have hands in and out of water throughout the day, yes the usual housework. I have never found rubber gloves easy to wear but with this cream I don't need them. I did worry that the smell might be off putting, but thankfully as it also contains bees wax and honey, it is actual relatively odourless. I haven't used it on my face as I have an oilier skin type, but as it is full of natural ingredients I did rub some into my neck leaving that area also feeling soft and nourished. At 120g this jar is a decent size, and as it is a rich, thicker texture cream, it goes a long way, making it good value for money. This is a really good quality cream that I will certainly be using on my hands and feet from now onwards; it lovely to discover a naturally made cream like this that really works.

My go-to skin moisturizer previously was a mixture of shea butter and coconut oil, but in recent months I have found that it just hasn’t cut it on my face or legs anymore. My legs would be flakey at the end of the day and my face would need extra applications throughout the day and due to other health issues would have a redness to it. I did a switched to Cerave and this has been much better for long-term moisturizing and reducing the redness of my cheeks. But I really would prefer something more natural and since tallow seems to be all the rage these days, I decided to test out a few different products to see how they work for my skin. This is one of the products I have tests and I am very pleased with the results I have used this for a few weeks on my face. For comparison I applied this mixture to one side of my face and did my standard face creams on the other side of my face to see how well this compares to what I am used to. I found that this does a great job at moisturizing my skin and holds up just as long as the Cerave that I use. It also has not cause any irritation to my skin as the Cerave does if I put it to close to my eyes. Most days I apply in the morning and before I go to bed and this is adequate to keep the skin moist, with the occasional time where I apply a bit more when the weather is really cold and dry. The product absorbs into the skin well and quickly, without leaving greasy residue. The smell of the product is pretty subtle with a hint of honey smell to it. I find you only need small amount and it goes a long ways on your face. Other tests with just tallow and honey have proven great for moisturizing but have not reduced the redness that I get, but this product, which has the addition of beeswax, has been doing a great job, the majority of the time, of not just moisturizing but also reducing redness or burning sensation that I get. It is only occasionally that I still need to pull out the Cerave because the redness is just not diminishing. I also use this on my legs as they can get quite flakey from wearing thigh high compression socks everyday. A little goes a long ways there also, but there is definitely a lot more skin to cover in that area making my bottle of cream disappear faster then I’d like for the price paid. As displayed in the pictures, this product is very yellow. I have no idea what makes one product different then the next, but I have another product with the identical ingredients list and it is white in colour. The bottle lists only the ingredients: grass-fed grass-finished beef tallow, beeswax, honey; which makes this a great natural option for moisturizing your skin!

Segunda vez q la compro. La taxtura es muy densa pero una vez aplicada en la piel no se queda con sensación pegajosa. Se absorbe super bien y deja la piel muy hidratada. Me encanta
