This is one of the most delicious spice blends I think I’ve ever had. I have been using it to season my salads along with olive oil. Delicious on chopped tomatoes and avocado salad. I can see myself using this on everything in the place of salt. Love the quality and how there’s no garbage in it.

this stuff is great - i use it on popcorn so far and it cannot be beat.

I put this on my homemade chex mix because I’m an utter barbarian. So, so good.

I ordered this after reading that it was commonly used in India instead of salt and pepper food. I use it that way on some dishes. It does have a very slight sulfur smell that’s I could see some finding offputting. But I don’t notice that after it’s sprinkled on potatoes, soups, and other savory dishes. I have heard that some people like it on fruit. I have never tried that, because I don’t like salt on fruit. i would recommend this spice mix for the adventurous eater. To me the most identifiable flavors are a little salty And tangy. If your looking for a salt free spice mix know that this has salt in it.

Love this spice. Gives chai tea that extra kick. I’ve also bought other spices from this brand and all have been good.

The spice creates a very flavorful salad dressing and stews. It also has warm spices that are delicious.

I love Indian spices and was really hoping to like this one sprinkled on fruit especially - I tried in on some fresh Mango, and I mostly liked it - it does have a slight tangy flavor which I loved, but I don't know what it is - maybe because I am just not used to the spices in it, it had a slight "eggy" smell , taste kind of like sulfur that I just can't get past. I want to try it again, I was thinking on some pineapple, but I opened the lid and the same egg kind of smell hit me and I just couldn't. I'm sure it is just a problem I am having due to not being really familiar with the spices

Absolutely amazing

I was ordering Chaat/Chat from Indian restaurants all the time and decided to try making my own at home. I put Indian style crackers on the bottom, then topped with small cubes of cooked potato, cooked chickpeas, some yogurt, drizzled tamarind sauce, sprinkled chopped cilantro-and then the final touch that brings it all together is this Chat Masala powder. It is a special mix of 13 spices that is tangy/sour/spicy. It is not fire-y hot/spicy at all. The important ingredient in it is the dried mango powder which gives it have a nice tangy taste. You could use this on many other things as well- in salad dressing, on corn on the cob, on popcorn. It is different than Garam Masala which has more of a deeper clove/cumin/ taste to it. I am trying out some Indian cooking at home and learning more about the different spice blends available. Rani Foods seems to be a very good company to order from. I can’t easily buy the out of the ordinary spices nearby so I was delighted to find them online. I finally was able to make that delicious looking recipe and it was great.

Not a bad little pot of substitute for haram masala, what I use it for anyway and gives a nice citrus Indian finish 👍
