Scantronic 9448 Alarm Panel

Small neat panel, connections easy to understand, enough room in panel for excess wiring and battery. Front panel hinges a little flimsy, but secure once closed up.

The colour of the plastic and the shape is slightly different from the original. The backup battery still fits well. Very slight differences on the PCB but nothing that affects fitting or the wiring. The original is white plastic but the new one looks like a cheaper off white plastic. Easy to fit.

This Alarm Panel is a great piece of kit. I installed it myself (as a DIY) Read the instructions carefully several times to install correctly. Delivery excellent.

Original Panel had faulty keypad after numerous power cuts! Red leds lit up but nothing else worked ! Replaced and worked perfectly ! Then New box was called Eaton rather than Scantronic but exactly the same fixings and internals ! Good that you can still get the same Alarm panel made over 10years ago to replace when they eventually go faulty !

I gave it a one star for the product NOT the seller, purchased this to replace my existing one that had been installed over 16 years, only to find that it was faulty - no chime etc although i programed it to, when entry and exit doors open!.i received a prompt refund from the seller (thank you).
